Revco Welding Hat / Cap - Good Value but watch the one size fits all
Got this cap today via Prime, i never have any luck with one size fits all, they are ALWAYS to small for my melon. My hat size is 7 3/4 " and my helmet size is 62-63 cm. I have short hair. This hat surprisingly fits me but its snug, if you wear a size 7 1/2 size hat or 59-60cm Helmet this will probably be a perfect fit for you. 7 1/4 should work fine too. I have about 3/4 - 1 inch of room between my skull and the top of the cap if i pull it down to my ears (it doesn't cover them). Despite the inch on top, it does not interfere with my welding helmet. While someone with a bald head may not appreciate this, I kind of do, it doesn't squish down my hair too much like a baseball hat would and it keeps me cooler than having it tight. The material is heavy and feels durable, I like it. Its made from 100% cotton per the tags. There is a small elastic band sewn in, but i think if you have have a smaller head than 7 1/8, this will probably look pretty large on you. If you are lucky enough to have a head that fits (around 7 1/4 - almost 7 3/4), buy one, these are nice and affordable. I'll wear mine in and I'm sure it will be fine. Weld-on my friend :)

Good cap for a good price!
Pretty decent cap if you have the right sized head for it. I wear a 7 3/8 and it's a good fit for me, but if you're much bigger than 7 1/2, it would be tight. The material is cotton and the bill does a good job of protecting the back of your neck from spatter. It's reasonably priced, but there are much nicer welding caps available for a little more money - actually fitted to specific sizes - and if you're a pro or even a dedicated hobbyist, it would be worth it to spend a little more money on quality gear. One I particularly like is weldingcapsbylori.etsy.com - some really great fabrics available, great fit - she even makes lined caps for winter and ships quickly. This is a decent cap if you don't have a good welding supplier nearby where you can go try them on. It's durable enough.

Fits my big noggin perfect!
Not sure why there are so many complaints about the size of this ~$6 hat. Maybe the manufacturer increased the size or perhaps they had an improperly sized batch. Considering the circumference of my head measures a whopping 25 inches, I rarely find hats that fit. However, that’s not the case here. This welding cap fits exactly like it’s supposed to fit. Yea, it’s snug, but it’s not too tight. Besides, if it were any larger, I wouldn’t be able to get the band of my welding hood over it. I would buy it again, and looking forward to keeping sparks off my noggin. Phifft, I might even wear it under my motorcycle helmet. - TBD

Very tight, quality material. Should come in different sizes
I have to agree with other users, this thing is small. To give context I’m 5’7”, 150 lbs and I wear a small size flex fit cap and those are almost too big sometimes... meaning my head is not large, actually somewhat small. This thing still leaves lines on my forehead for hours after I take it off because it’s so tight. It’s not terribly uncomfortable, but it feels nice to take it off. Protection and material wise it is stout, thick cotton, I’m glad I have it, but I don’t enjoy wearing it. If your head is a normal size (i.e. bigger than an infant to young child’s head) then buy with caution and never wash it.

That it fits
It fit my big old ugly head just like I wanted it to, and matches my jacket and glovesAfter reading all these negative reviews about these caps being to tight for medium to large heads I told my wife to get out her sewing tape and measure my head, well my head measured 7 3/4. I'm 6'4" weigh 212lb 65 years old with a full head of thick grey hair fits perfect no head ache, not a pro but a series hobbyist, some times I wear the cap all day and some days for only a few hours. When I wear the helmet or face shield with out the cap I really get a head ache because I have to crank them down so tight, not so much when wearing the cap they fit over the cap and feel quite comfortable . I think the problem is how thy are manufactured, they are like jeans I order five pair from the same store usually get five pair made in different country's two pair fit three don't. For as Amazon writing fake reviews, I don't believe that for a second.th only thing I don't like is the no return , it should be told up front
