For a child with eczema and allergies
My grandson has proven allergies and moderate eczema. Most sunscreens cause red skin or worse reactions. This one actually seems to have a positive effect. I wonder if it is difference between zinc and titanium, but I don’t know. I said it was less spreadable than some other sunscreens. All of these types of products tend to leave a white-ish look. I have no problem with that.

reviewer Jane is wrong
titanium dioxide is perfectly safe for reefs as long as it is non-nano

For Adults Too - screens well and doesn't sting
I am very pleased with this sunscreen. I have pale skin and some rosacea so I have to be very careful with both the sun exposure and with the sunscreen itself. Some sunscreens I have gotten burned right through them. Some sunscreens have been really irritating to my skin. This one does protect me, and my skin does not get irritated. At first when you put it on, it is white and pasty looking, but that fades as it absorbs. The only thing I don't like is that in the hot weather my face will sweat more with this sunscreen because it is thick, and then when you wipe away the sweat you wipe away the sunscreen. I have found that if I am super careful to apply very thinly to my face, it is not as bad. I wish it were a bit less thick, but I think you can't have your cake and eat it too. If it is to work well for people like me who burn super easy, it has to be a bit thick.

Probably effective, but not reef safe
I purchased this because there is an answer to a customer question saying that the active ingredient is zinc oxide. It is actually titanium dioxode, which is not reef safe according to the web research I did. Consumer Reports says California Kids is the most effective non-chemical sunscreen, so it may well be good, but I wanted something to use in Hawaii, and this is not it.

I have super sensitive skin
I have super sensitive skin, this is one of the only sun screens i can use. You know your going to be protected useing this product however its hard to rub in (by that i mean more often then not it makes you look ghosty white). Also its very expensive. However I will say, a little goes a long way. I got an entire summer out of a bottle using it everyday. However i only reapplied once throughout the day.

I used it on my 7 year old and he burned!
I am not happy with it, I applied this every 30 minutes with a generous amount, his eyes were super irritated and he got burned. I am not happy!
