Along with a couple of aging cats, we have one young one that required radical urinary tract surgery. The vet strongly suggested glucosamine to sooth his newly re-routed system. Of all the powders, liquids, etc. we've tried this one is the best accepted by him and all others we treat. The pump works smoothly (unlike another we tried that jammed!) and delivers a uniform "dose."Mixes well with wet food, haven't tried it on dry food.BTW, those dealing with male cats with crystal formations should also look at tubes of METHIONINE paste for cats in tubes sold on AZ. If you are buying prescription cat food with METHIONINE in it, it is exactly the same thing, but much less expensive. PH tests at the vet convinced them it works.

My cat loves it. I squirt it onto her dry food and she gobbles it up. I've been using it for several weeks and I see a noticeable difference in her ability to get around. She's a 15-year-old kitty with some arthritis in her shoulder and she's able to come up the stairs much more easily now. The pump bottle is convenient.

One of my dogs is a picky eater and she sometimes doesn't eat when she should. The liquid glucosamine looks, smells, and feels like chicken broth. Since I began using it, my dog hasn't skipped a meal yet. She eats immediately when fed, and she doesn't leave one morsel behind. She also appears to be more physically active within the week I have started using it, even though she still sleeps a lot...lol. My other dog was adopted recently and suffered from an injury to his knee. Within a week, you can barely notice how he favors his good leg in comparison to his gait a week ago. I use this product in combination with a chewable that I put in with their food as well. The simple fact that my female is more motivated to eat her food is enough for me to be thrilled with the product.

I ordered this for my 12-year old Maltipoo, who recently suffered a herniated disc in his neck, followed by renal failure. My little guy is a survivor! He is not paralyzed as the vet initially thought he may be, but walks with what I call an "old man gimp". He was on glucosamine tablets prior to this recent injury and illness but after being off of it for about two months, I wanted to try a liquid form since his eating habits changed. I asked my vet about this brand since my dog is still on other medication and he said it would be fine for him to take, but always check with your own vet about your particularly dog's situation. It is so easy to add a couple pumps to each meal and he laps it up. I don't have to worry about him picking out his food and leaving the glucosamine. It has only been a couple of weeks since he started on this but I believe we can already see some improvement. I am looking forward to even greater improvement once he has been on this for more than a month or two, but wanted to post a review about much we like this particular liquid.

Just started using it today, hoping to see some changes in my little girl, she is 14 going on 15 and has arthritis in her back legs. She seem to take to it well, mixed it in her food. She is very picky, so that is saying something. I will update in a month or so on how this is working to reduce the pain and inflammation. Thanks for the intro price on this product.

I am about to order a second bottle of this product.The liquid form is so much easier to give to my cats - I mix it into their cans and they never seemed to dislike it.And it is much cheaper than any other glucosamine products you can buy at Pets Mart, plus my cats don't like the paste or the little glucosamine fishes you can get there.My 13 year old cats don't talk so I harder to talk about how effective this stuff is, but they have been on this product for a couple of months now and they seem to move OK. And without any glocusomine they do get stiff.Recommend to try!

I'm very happy with this product. I bought it along with the Omega3 for my 2 boxers and 1 cat. No animals have joint problems, per se, but I am using this in hopes it will help prevent issues from happening as they age. The cat is 5.5 y/o, fawn boxer is a 4.75 y/o, white boxer is 15months. Since they can't talk I can't hear how they feel about it, but they eat their food just fine. Took them a minute to realize they still needed to eat with the new odor of the liquid, but they eat without hesitation now.

I'm sure the quality of this supplement is good and that it would benefit my cats but I've been trying for months to get them to accept this in their wet food. However, when I try to add the recommended dose they won't eat their food. I can only add it to certain chicken wet foods but even then they will not eat it with a full dose.I still recommend giving it a try because it's a good product that could be beneficial.
