I really like the look of it but the description says "screw ...
I really like the look of it but the description says "screw off the base to access the 3 wire connections inside". That is the reason I bought it so I could fix a lamp. I've tried everything but I can't figure out how what is supposed to screw off. When you screw off the 2 plastic pieces at the base they only expose more of the twisted wire - not the 3 wire connection inside. If I could figure out how to screw off the base it would be perfect and I'd give it 5 stars.

A great cord works well looks nostalgic just as I remember growing up in grama’s place

Cheaply made. Switch was broken upon arrival. Thankfully I was able to repair it, but it's annoying that I should have to repair a brand new object.
