Men's Floppy Packable Straw Hat Beach Cap Newsboy Fedora Sun Hat, Big Brim, Adjustable Chin Strap

I wear a 7 3/8 and this was a perfect fit with the chin strap tucked into the crown. With the chin strap in its normal position, it was still a decent fit, thought not snug and a strong wind would have blown it off. I'm guessing the hat is close to a XL size.Nice material and color. The hat came folded and the brim has wire that will need to be straightened. Overall, nice hat. Can't beat the price either - ($12.98 as of this review).

This is an OK beach hat that you won't mind getting stolen or lost due to the cost. The price is good. It shapes nice enough with the wire in the brim. The decorative black belt around it immediately snapped when trying to unbuckle it. It is only for looks . It is held on with hot melt glue, not very well, and is better off removed. The chin strap could use another stitch to hold it onto the sweatband more securely, but it works. The size is a mens XL. So for my XXL noggin it was a little bit too tight. For 10$ this is fine for keeping the sun off your head. If you want a custom fit, high-quality adornment and years long lasting craftsmanship, you will have to spend more.

I don’t know what these other reviewers are talking about. At $12.50 this is an amazing sun hat. The brim has a wire and so you can mold it how you want it to look. It comes packed flat like you would for luggage, and can then be flipped out and molded to your featured contour. Great for travel. Yes itmay take a minute or two of fiddling with it but this is a great deal and seems of good quality so far. Highly recommend. The brim is wider than other hats I’ve looked at, offering more protection which is a plus.

I got this hat for my husband's Halloween costume. I was surprised that it was folded so compactly. I tried to reshape it (it's shaped more like a floppy hat) but wasn't able to get the creases out. When I tried it on the strap fell out when I touched it.It will be okay for a costume but still disappointed. I personally wouldn't recommend this and definitely would not purchase it again.

It said one size fits most but there is no way the hat I got would fit many. It is huge and I wear the average where this thing is an XL. It was either made wrong or somewhere there are billions of big headed people...some of which apparently work for this hat company...in the SIZE department. I gave it to my abnormally large headed neighbor but he said it was too big as well. Now it's either put a handle on it and call it an umbrella or throw it in this big pile of poor quality Chinese crap I seem to be collecting from Amazon.

The hat folds flat to be stuffed into a back pack, and is easily expanded to wear. It's stylish, wide enough to keep the sun off but not too large, breathes and gives airflow. The drawstring is great if it gets breezy or you ride a bike. Terrific buy.

After unpacking from it's flattened form, the hat shapes OK with a little manipulation. Not so good is the chin cord, which is not very solidly sewn into the inner band of the hat with a single line of stitching - some of the photos show the cord feeding through the brim with eyelets, but this was not the case with my hat. The chin cord was a big reason I purchased the hat, to keep the it on in windy conditions at the beach and boating, but it does not look like it will last long, since it is secured only by a single line of stitching. Unlike the dark-colored cord shown in the pictures, the cord is actually a very light color (similar to string), which does not complement the dark color of the hat band and looks cheap. The straw hat itself does look like it will do a decent job of protecting from the sun.

Florida sun hat for working in the yard mostly. Last straw hat from Walmart was over $25 & this actually seems nicer. Hopefully it holds up well. Its comfortable and fits the average American male, like me ! Has a wire inside the outer rim to shape it and a liner band so its not scratchy on the head/face. Two weeks delivery, a bit slow.
