The Julia Rothman Collection: Farm Anatomy, Nature Anatomy, and Food Anatomy Paperback – Box set, November 29, 2016

The media could not be loaded. These books are a beautiful set. They name a great coffee table set for adults or a great set to introduce kids to topics. They are good quality and nicely illustrated. They have a host of topics discussed in each book separated into chapters and broken down into more specific subjects for every 2-3 pages in the chapter. They’re is more illustration than words, so for my 4 and 6yo, it’s fine as far as looking at pictures and starting to talk about things. The content is simple but more advanced and would be more easily understood by 5/6th grader, and I plan to use it as long term source of information and way to inspire curiosity in my kids. For myself, I like looking through it to learn some new interesting information or refresh myself on some stuff I learned in grade school. The prints that come with the set are nice as well and come printed in a thick card stock, though they are not a common size just a little shy of an 8x10. I plan to just get a floating frame for those I want to put in the wall

I am so happy with my purchase! I homeschool and next school year I will be doing Nature Journals for the first time with a 3rd grader, and a Kindergartner. We have already started doing this at the end of this year and they love it! I will be so happy to use the various subjects as they come up and use this book as a reference. The simple drawings are good for reference when drawing our own things. I feel like the books are smaller than they seem online, but in reality they are perfect size for children. I love how the information is brief and the pictures are detailed. Some things we will likely never use, but as an adult they are fun to look at. I feel this book could be good for a nature loving adult, or for a child and homeschoolers. I was bummed to realize the Ocean book didnt come with this set, but I bought separate and am eagerly looking toward its arrival.

These books are amazing to read with my 10 year old son who I homeschool! Beautiful illustration that brings the writing to life. Great combo of description with illustration so they don’t lose focus. Easy read with short chapters so you can read, then spend the rest of the week exploring what you read about in nature.

Love everything about this. Very well made and great illustrations. Great gift for curious children and adults as well. I think everyone on Earth could use these books. I wish I had more time to post more pictures. It has EVERYTHING to know about food, plants, space, nature, farming, animals, tools, machinery. The list goes on. I homeschool and normal textbooks can get boring but these are so interesting and explained very well for all ages with being childish. I can't recommend this enough. It would make a great gift and the box the books are held in is very pretty. It can even be used as decor. Very eye catching.

The media could not be loaded. Not only are the illustrations amazing it’s great for all ages! As a homeschooler both my toddler and tweenage child love it! It has tons of different sections, categories, each book full of information! I highly recommend. Also comes with free poster pages which I thought was pretty neat!

I'm so excited to have Julia Rothman's Anatomy books in our home library. They're some of my favorite books to flip through. We also purchased the Ocean Anatomy book and I definitely read it cover to cover in a few hours. These are great books for adults and children. Illustrations are beautiful and the information is interesting. They're great books for filling your brain with interesting party facts such as, "have you ever heard about ambergris?" or that "short order lingo for sausage and two eggs is Adam & Eve on a log." These books would also make an excellent gift.
