The Honest Kitchen Whole Food Clusters Human Grade Dry Puppy Food

I went on a deep dive looking for the right food for my puppy. I didn’t want traditional kibble as the high heat could cause cancer (I lost my last pup to cancer). I know that cancer seems to be rampant in dogs today, I wonder how much traditional kibble is the cause. When I found honest kitchen I knew that I found the right food. Using only human food and not high heat feels right. I know that there are other foods out there. But this fits my budget better. My puppy loves it and eats every bite (she would eat a lot more if I gave her more). For a growing Saint Bernard puppy (currently 6 months) this is perfect. At some point I will try the dehydrated food but for price and convenience this is perfect.

My dog loves this food & I also feed him the one you mix with water . He goes crazy for it . The only thing I wish they would do is , make it like a zip lock bag . The food started turning to dust . I ended up by a food storage container.

Very disappointed that my dog didn’t like it, she ate it the first couple of times then she wouldn’t even go to her bowl. I left it overnight thinking she would be hungry in the night but she didn’t touch it, it was the same thing for 3 days and nights until I gave up and mixed it with Royal Canin puppy kibbles, she picks out the little bit I mixed in and leaves it on the floor. I know she ends up eating a bit of it but that’s it.

I originally bought it as the marketing got me with their high quality ingredients such as human grade food. Did I try a kibble? Yes I sure did! Got to make sure my dogs are eating well! It honestly tastes like cardboard to me but my dogs LOOOOOVE it. The kibbles are a great size for small dogs. The smell is very light as well. The kibbles are NOT oily either. My dogs stool come out healthy and solid. They have plenty of energy. They are satiated throughout the day. Bonus: I also use these kibbles as training treats! My pets are not overweight :) Overall this food is definitely worth the premium pricing when I factor in avoiding potential heath issues as my dogs are older if I were to feed them lower quality food. I also factor in every I just said above. As a pet owner, my dogs being happy is totally worth the premium. I'll eat out less to fund the expense haha!
