I returned this product. It was damaged. Did not work

I really wanted to like this product, but it was made from a very cheap plastic and it was super lightweight. I just wasn’t a fan of the overall quality, especially for the cost.

From the picture, it looks like it comes with a stand for storing upright. It does not. It's just the lighter and charge cord.Spent way more than other similar items because it looked easier to keep in the counter.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this lighter excited about the idea of never having to worry about if there was fuel in a traditional lighter. I only use a liter for lighting candles so naturally, I bought the candle lighter. It worked wonderfully at first but then I noticed that the arcs were having a hard time connecting. My husband attempted to troubleshoot it by cleaning it but it only worked a few more times before it stopped entirely.My next course of action was to reach out to their customer service team. I emailed them about my problem and they asked me to send them a photo, not a problem. Then they asked me to send a video but a 5 second video was too long and they did not have alternate means to send them larger files.We're all busy in this life and even though this was inconvenient for me to have to shorten a video to email it to a customer service representative, I did. They then followed up with now clean it and send the video again. That was my last straw as the lighter was already meticulously cleaned before I sent the first video mind you outside of their request for pictures and videos there were weeks of back and forth emails I also sent to describe my problem.I just think if a company actually backs their product they wouldn't have customer jumping through hoops to get a replacement. They don't believe in their product and their customer service team isn't here to help you it is here to help the company save pennies.Last thought, I explained the reason why I believe the product stopped working. The two arcs tips are shrouded in plastic. When they meet to create a spark on a candle wick it take a few seconds before the wick ignites. When it does ignite it slowly melts the plastic shroud. After a few uses (less than a year, not daily) the arcs stop connecting and therefore do not spark over a wick. It's a flaw in the design/engineering in my opinion. Buy it if you want but I wanted to be clear about the company and their customer service. They do not stand behind their product just the dollars they have rolling in.

I bought this lighter as part of VYD. I light candles all the time. the base stand broke right away. they sent me another one. It also broke. then I have trouble lighting my candles. It doesn't generate enough heat to light the candle. the further down the wick is, the less it works. I keep charging it. now the charging port is broken so can be charged. Taking it to be recycled. Great idea, bad product.

I liked everything and went on to buy them for gifts . So much easier to use than the kind you have to push a button down to activate. It’s classy looking
