Nutrition Strawberry Whey Protein - 5Lb Bulk, Recovery - 61 Servings

"Man, I wish there was a protein drink out there that doesn't have all the BS. No carageenan or guar gum or artificial sweeteners or flavors. Give me sugar, I can handle a couple of extra calories," I said between swigs of some awful slop shake, standing in the gym parking lot late at night, smoking a cigarette with my gym buddy (cigarettes raise testosterone, testosterone is essential for recovery, a recovery cigarette) (don't smoke, kids). "Yeah," he replied in typical eloquent and verbose fashion. Wnen I got home, I logged my computer onto Amazon dotcom and searched. And searched. And searched. I was looking for a whey protein that accepted the fact that it is FOOD, not a "nutritional supplement." Food ingredients, good taste without being hyperpalatable so I don't crave it (I am a fatboi). Then, among the rows and rows of protein powders overflowing with stuff I can't pronounce, was Naked Whey. Oh look, the stawberry only has three ingedients, one of which is strawberries. Jackpot! This is the protein drink of my dreams. It tastes great, not too sweet, natural strawberry flavor (from, you know, the dried, ground stawberries), makes me look more handsome when I'm carrying the jar, etc. There's no leichins or binders, but it mixes well anyway. It has coconut sugar. Why does it have coconut sugar instead of cane sugar? No clue, but you know what? It dissolves well and tastes good, so I'm not questioning it. Coconuts to that. No gut issues, but I never had any from whey. It doesn't really leave me feeling satiated, so I throw so psyllium husks in my shaker bottle and they make it a meal. Bravo, Naked, now put some clothes on.

Right of the gate review, bought it without looking at the reviews until now: I’ve had my fair share of proteins (Carnivore, Muscle Milk, ON, Rival) and this one by far tastes the best in my honest opinion (Strawberry) . No chalky taste, not overly sweet with a bitter factory taste, super easy to dissolve with nothing but a shaker bottle. Yes it get foamy but honestly tastes like a milkshake and all probably depends on what you mix it with. I did 2 full scoops, lactose free 2% milk (I’m not lucky like some of yall) and it was bomb. Probably the best part to ending a workout cause now after every session I’m looking forward to down a healthy milkshake. I gave it 4 stars cause I can’t speak on its effectiveness but 25 grams of protein, 7 grams of sugar, 8 grams of carbs, and 150 calories? Take my money I burn triple that on a 45 minute workout so it’s perfect for the homies looking to get that protein intake, dessert, and all without the extra calories.

Great source of protein the taste is the only negative. But that said I prefer healthy and no artificial flavors so I will take this any day over others.

Smells good, expensive, but the flavor doesn't match. Doesn't taste strawberry. I won't buy it again.

first and foremost if you're buying this product or looking into such a product, you're doing it for the nutritional value and numbers. And to that end, this is a strong 4.5 and better if not a 5. Taste? its' subtle, not as "realistic", and it's a bit "grainy" via shaker bottle hand mix. (high powered blender? smooth as butter). But we dont really buy these for taste. Taste is not offensive AT ALL, its' pleasant. But if you're looking to taste strawberries like we're use dto with normal strawberry flavored products- this won't do it for you. Cost? Yeah.. expensive. But if you want good ingredients/nutrition and what you buy whey protein for, naked is good stuff. It'll cost. (rather do this than eat tons of staek and eggs in a day...) Do yourself a favor and get a high powered smoothie blender for your shakes. (I bought a Ninja and love it). It defintely makes the shakes much more pleasant!
