I'll start off and say that while technically it does charge my device, it's impossible to use. The included head piece's clamps are not tight enough and don't hold onto the base, causing it to slide out when grabbing the phone. Not only that, the base is only usable in the car if you have an incredibly FLAT surface to mount it on. I regret buying this.

I wanted to like this so much. It's slick, the metal ring fits inside my case, and with that the magnet holds the phone really well. I loved it! But.... The problem is the physics were not well thought out. I have an iPhone X, which has a glass back and requires the metal ring in/on the case. The charging speed is very slow even with a 2A usb plug, the magnetism caused by the metal ring interferes with the inductive charging current. Usually I get about a 3% charge on my iPhone X in a 30 min drive, vs 3-5 times that much on my mophie desktop Qi charger at home, if I remove the metal ring from my case. I just can't can't recommend this, it charges too slow to be useful...

This charges your phone by electromagnetic induction.Physics 101 should tell you that a lot of current is going to flow in the metal ring that they provide to stick your phone to this charger. The electric current makes the ring go hot really quickly and it ends up heating up your phone. Furthermore, it is going to reduce the efficiency of qi charging.So if you are going to use this product, do not use the metal ring that they provide. It works well on a naked Galaxy S7, but the magnet is too weak to hold it steady while driving when I have a case over my phone.

Fits my air vent tightly. Probably the best car charger and holder I've owned. Only down sides: Would be nice if it used a lighting cable so when not using this, I could plug it into my iPhone. Also, the magnet isn't strong enough to hold your phone without using the included magnet. I put the (ugly) magnet ring on my thin case, and it works super well.

The wireless car charger works great with my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because temperature seems to play an important role believe or not. When it's hot outside the force of magnetism declines. But if you run the A/C all the time, or you live in a cold enviroment overall, then you should be fine.

I would have really liked to have found a good iPhone X charger for my car....but this one was the worst product. It’s not a fast charger for the iPhone X as advertised and it takes several tries to get the phone to stick to the charger. It just keeps falling off. If it can’t do those two things, it’s just a really bad product.

Wouldn’t hold my iPhone X or charge it, box was partially opened and the face of the pad was all marked up like it was returned. Sad part was I had to pay to return this piece of ....

Using it with an iPhone X.. It charges but very slowly and makes both the phone and the charger very HOT. That doesn't seem good. Also when using the vent mount it doesn't stay in position as firmly as I would like.
