My go to socks for my son, he is about a size 2 1/2 and the medium fits perfectly! Not too thick but not too thin. Holds up pretty well. He is outside playing with his shoes off and playing in the sand.

I think the sizing is not accurate. I ordered the M for shoe size 9-2.5, but was too big for a size 12 shoe. It was a better fit for a size 2 shoe. So I would size down if your kiddo is a shoe size 12 and under. Otherwise, the socks feel good, they washed well, and my kid is satisfied with them.

Cheaper socks just don't last. These hold up to sports, lawn mowing, hiking, etc

These felt like knock offs. We have bought fruit of the loom socks for many years with no issue. We just opened these at Christmas and after my son wore a pair 1 time, they either got a hole and had to be thrown out or the bottoms looked frayed and worn as if they were old and heavily used. We've already thrown away 2 pairs. Would have loved to send them back for a refund if we could.
