These are not your usual picture frames. They are designed to preserve and protect artwork. As well as display it nicely. Each side of the frame snaps open, so you can lay your art gently inside, cover it with the protective covering, and then just snap each side shut. The springs are very tight so they snap securely shut. It would be easy to change your picture of choice, for example, these would be great for children's art.They are the same vibrant colors in person as they show in the picture. I used them to display some of my mother's artwork, which is precious to us, and I could fee secure in placing her art in these.

I needed four new frames to replace the crappy ones that I had been using for my posters of Batman and Superman as they are depicted in BvS. The four previous ones, whose product name is "The MCS 65594 Original Poster Frame," are just cardboard backings that come with four removable cheap plastic strips (that tend to fall off) and a transparent plastic sheet.However, each of the SnapeZo Poster Frames has a backing that is made of plastic and to which four nonremovable aluminum edges are attached, and each one comes with two transparent plastic sheets (one of which is a spare).Furthermore, it is very easy to install posters into the SnapeZo frames; all that a person has to do is pop the edges of a frame into the opened position, place a poster onto the plastic backing, place a transparent plastic sheet over the poster, and then pop the edges into the closed position.

If you're not planning on switching out posters, the price tag is TOO HIGH. You're paying for the snap technology - which does make framing your artwork an easy task. But without this technology, it's a $15 frame. The frame/border itself is made of plastic and, although it's well wrapped, it's scratched and scuffed up. (Not to a debilitating degree - but it may not sit well with picky consumers.) Also, the PVC cover makes for quick framing and easy hanging, but, unlike glass, it gives a warped reflection - like a fun house mirror. This doesn't affect the art work, but does create a visual distraction if light hits it. Given this effect and the scuffed frame, I wouldn't hang this in a brightly lit spot. Overall, I'm happy with the frame, as it made the framing process easy, and it was a lot cheaper than a costume frame. (I bought an odd sized frame - a size that's harder to find on the shelves of Michael's or art stores.) But if you need a readily available size frame and aren't planning to switch out artwork, I would opt for a more inexpensive frame.

This is the easiest picture frame I have ever had to deal with. It feels sturdy, looks well made, and was a cinch to maneuver!. Simply flip up each side of the frame, remove the backing, add your picture/poster, replace backing, flip sides back down and you are done. No annoying metal tabs to pry up or that easily loosen and slip out of place. I will definitely be purchasing more of these types of frames again as the need arises.

The box that packs the frame is not protected well enough, so my frame got a scratch on one of the edges. Also, 2 out of the 4 corners of the frame had sharp metal sticking out. They way they construct these snap frames, the two edges don’t always close seamlessly. So one snap frame was sticking out a millimeter on both sides. That is enough to puncture ones skin in case of an accidental scraping, so definitely not something to have in a household with kids. This is unacceptable for a frame that is so expensive.

The frames are sturdy, you can tell that they are made with quality products and construction. The colors may vary, depending on what color you order. i purchased the 18x24 green frame, its a darker green than advertised and it was scratched from the screws becoming lose. I also purchased the 11x17 cream color. You must mount the frame before adding your print or poster, if youre going to screw the frame into the wall, since the frame is a few cmeters smaller on the inside..Unless you're going to use command strips, or the optional mounting hooks provided. You must be careful when snapping down the frame borders, since they have a powerful snap and hold the poster securely in place. I really like these frames, i wish i knew about them before i hung up multiple posters Around the house.

I ordered this frame for a limited edition poster I received for a brand I work with in the technology space. I have a copy of this poster in my office and there is one at our HQ office in NYC. I needed a frame to make the brushed gold on the poster pop but I didn't want a shiny super yellow gold that would make it look gaudy or tacky. This is the perfect frame! The color shown on the listing is an accurate representation of the color of the frame. The front snaps open and you can layer posters behind the one displayed for safekeeping and switch them out as needed. The edges of the frame are pretty thick-make sure to check those measurements if you are looking for something more subtle because the frame will stand out itself at a distance. This is a quality frame that will last years, the snapping parts of the frame do not feel loose or cheap at all. We are going to be ordering a second one for our HQ office this week!

These will work great for us. I would give 5-stars except for a couple of minor things and you can judge for yourself as they are minor. The back of the frame (which will never be seen) was pretty scratched up. Personally, I don't care but it is a quality control thing. It is aluminum and the corners are a bit sharp, but I really can't see a way around that short of making it out of plastic. One annoying thing to me is that the clear plastic sheet came taped to the back of the frame. Why not just put this one plastic protector inside the frame along with the second one? The tape left a really stick residue on the back. That annoys me. I just put a clear piece of tape over the sticky residue and it took care of the problem. This is a 5-star product with just a few minor packaging issues. It opens and closes nicely and it's going to make a breeze out of signage that needs be updated periodically. Overall a great product idea!
