It’s cool but I dont like how two books of the series are not the same size

Another great product from a wonderful author, can't wait for the next.

Manche Rezensenten waren von Mortis enttäuscht, was ich nicht nachvollziehen kann. Hier wird alles geboten was ich mir von einem Horus Heresy/Siege of Terra - Roman erwarte: Drama, epische Schlachten und Verzweiflung. Besonders gut hat mir gefallen wie es dem Autor gelingt die zunehmende Hoffnungslosigkeit der Verteidiger des Palastes glaubhaft zu vermitteln. Selbst Rogal Dorn beginnt am Sieg zu zweifeln. Ein tolles Buch!

Titan combat abounds, but the focus on human perspectives really brings the scale and the stakes into focus. The prose and tone are excellent, and generally make up for the occasionally flat characterization

I feel like you can't really tell much of a difference between the authors styles in this series, which I like because all of the books are written perfectly in my opinion. At most difference, it's like reading the different versions of the gospels in the bible. That is the way I feel when reading these books, if you a true diehard warhammer 40k fan this series in about what started it all. Would not recommend reading until you've read the earlier books though, at least in the siege of terra series. One of my favorite all time books series.
