This scene is based on a painting from the tomb of Ipuy. Ipuy was a sculptor under Pharaoh Ramesses II. He had his tomb decorated with unusual and curious scenes, making it one of the best-known tombs in the necropolis. Ipuy’s tomb is one of the tombs of Deir el-Medina.
