It Works
The breathability exceeded my initial expectations. I use it working outdoors and keep it in my bag at all times. It stores very compactly in my gear bags. I've used it for about 10 hours under humid, heavy rains. It keeps me generally quite dry. It's durable enough for normal use. I expect it to last for years. I would purchase again.

Very nice poncho
I like it better than the one I was issued in the USMC. Very rugged and keeps me dry when hiking in the rain. If you’re hiking buddy has a crappy poncho or no poncho, you can tie the head piece into a knot and use it like a small tarp to keep you both dry. It has several more uses to list, but the primary purpose is to keep you dry and it does. I wear it while wearing a backpack and keeps us both dry

Cheap Chinese poncho
It’s a cheap poncho and that is exactly what I wanted. It feels lightweight and not too heavy duty. The string on it are very cheap but easy to swap for survival cord. I think that a good way to carry something like that.I currently have it sunk in the swamp yo get the shine off it. While stepping on it to submerge it, I didn’t see anything that would make me think it’s not water proof. I’m happy with it.

Best Poncho/raincoat i could find on amazon.
This is a good quality poncho. I have tested it for its ability to stay dry it does pretty well unlike a lot of ponchos and raincoats out there. It is nylon so its breathable unlike cheap plastic ponchos you can buy for 1$ at stores. this was the best one i could find on amazon. I was initially petty frustrated going through all the terrible ones that still had 4/5 stars somehow. Sometimes its hard to find a good quality item nowadays. But this one isnt bad at all. If it was up to me those ponchos with 4/5 stars would get 1/5 stars. What good is a poncho if it doesnt even bock the rain.

Versatile, functional, very good quality
The poncho is remarkably light weight for the durability and coverage provided. I've walked through thorny patches without a snag and used it as a ground cover to help avoid ticks while hunting. It doesn't seem to be entirely waterproof but it is very water resistant. The side strings and snaps are well placed for creating multiple configurations.

It's.... A poncho.
This poncho is definitely a poncho. Waterproof rectangle with a hole in the middle, not much chance of catastrophic error... But seriously, it is pretty tough and well made, not disposable like some others. Worth the $30 or so. Large coverage, sturdy snaps, corner grommets for tarping(why would you not carry a real tarp too though?) Plus the photos on the item page are HILARIOUS. Tacticool China-Chad and all.

Effective but Bulky
The M-Tac Tactical Rain Poncho is durable and does a great job at keeping you dry with its waterproof ripstop material. It’s perfect for camping and hiking, but it’s quite bulky making it harder to move around. While it works well for rain protection, the loose fit can be cumbersome when you're on the go.
