Stan's NoTubes Rim Tape for Rim Interior (30 MM)

Stan’s has been my go-to for tubeless since I made the switch. This rim tape damn near perfect and, when used correctly, goes on with with no bubbles or hassles. Plus, it cleans up well in case you need to remove it.Ok, to the point of the people saying it goes on lumpy or crinkled or full of air bubbles, here’s the deal:You. Have. To. Clean. Your. Rims. Thoroughly.And I mean it. Every speck if dust, grease, body oil, old sealant, or adhesive needs to come off your rim. That’s true for any tubeless tape. This is a long process. Expect to spend at least an hour per rim getting it spotless. Plus, application technique matters a lot as well. I use acetone to make sure the rim surface is properly prepped, and still pull up a Park Tool instructional video to make sure I’m applying it correctly.Take your time, do it right, and this tape is an absolutely ideal choice for your rims. Ride safe!

I was tired of having to air up the tires almost daily. I decided to try this tape. I have a stock Specialized off road bike. When I removed the tire, I found that the stock tape wasn't adhering well and was very plastic feeling. I cleaned the rim and tire, applied the tape. I used an old cotton tshirt to smooth out the tape in the rim. I ran a razor around the inside edge of the rim to make sure there was room for the tire to seal right. It's been a week since installing the tape and haven't lost air yet. I have yet to put self sealant in the tire too and it's been great so far. I will install this on my other tire when needed as well.

After using a different tape previously, I decided to try Stan’s on my mountain bike. It worked extremely well, and although it doesn’t stretch much, it stretched enough to go on relatively bubble free. I used Stan’s valve stems, and followed the vids I saw. The wheels sealed right up, and a week later I don’t have any significant air loss.I like it enough that I bought Stan’s tape and stems to finally go tubeless on my road bike. I expect that to go just as well.

I love the sealant but this tape is tough to work with since it is stiff and low-tack.

I have honestly been using Stans products - Rims, This Tape & sealant for years @ Bike parks & trails without fail.Going tubeless lets me run lower tire pressure giving me a smother ride with bump compliance adding to what I believe, better overall rolling resistance and speed.Is tubeless more work & somewhat messy..? Yes, but my bike & me have returned home time after time bashing down rock gardens, sidewall snake bites, goathead stickers, cactus thorns, blasting berms, drops to flat, big jumps and whips that don’t fully return before landing. Only time I thought about walking was after a rear 1” sidewall cut from a rock. But then I decided to ride it down flat knowing my Stans EX3 & Cush Core were still there. The tire was completely destroyed after my run down. I removed the thrashed tire, wiped it all off, reinstalled a replacement tire & 3 oz of new sealant. After some lunch my buddy & me were back up the bike park to punish the rocks & dirt.That being said, you need to do your due dilligence in the maintenance process yearly, to get every benefit possible from every product including Stans. This tape is essential in getting your rim properly sealed right off the bat.There are other reliable brands out there but for me, Stans is my go to for keeping me & my bike running.

This tape has a bit of a learning curve. You have to figure out the proper tension, and ensure you use the proper size. That said, it works GREAT. The adhesion is perfect: it allows you to make adjustments, but it sticks very well. I made a mistake on my very first install (ever) and had to retape. To my surprise, a couple days of being installed strengthened the tape adhesion. I’m buying more to always have it on hand.

I recently got a used set of rims that needed to be retaped. I used the 30mm rim tape for my 30mm ID rims and it was effortless to apply. The tires instantly seated and I've been ridden about 200 miles since with no leaks at all.

Whether you are an experienced installer or your first time. DO NOT BUT this crap, sorry Stan...but this is a subpar product that does not work and is relatively difficult to work with. It does not stick, is prone to air bubbles, is too rigid to work correctly and virtually worthless to sell to the general product. ZERO stars. Whether you do your research and follow their vids to a T....it does not work

Das war meine erste Tubeless Montage, ich habe vorher viele Artikel darüber gelesen und auch einige Videos angeschaut. Hier zwischen den Rezensionen habe ich zum Beispiel gelesen, dass das Felgenband nicht komplett dicht macht. Ich habe auch den Fehler gemacht, dass ich zu vorsichtig war, die Milch nicht verschwenden wollte, ich habe zuerst alles ohne Milch montiert um zu schauen, ob alles dicht ist. Inzwischen habe ich gelernt, dass ohne Milch das System nie ganz dicht wird, ganz langsam entwischt die Luft. Dann habe ich die Milch eingefüllt, aufgepumpt, duchgeschüttet und plötzlich war alles dicht. Reifen über Nacht liegen gelassen, alles perfekt.

L'ho preso largo 30 mm il mio cerchio interno è largo 25 mm era la prima volta che nastravo un cerchio e non avevo idea, su internet su un sito che sembrava attendibile diceva di prenderlo 5 mm più largo rispetto alla misura interna del cerchio in considerazione del fatto che il nastro tirandolo si stringe e del fatto che il cerchio è convesso ed è bene che prenda anche i bordi del cerchio. insomma ho pulito bene il cerchio l'ho nastrato tirandolo bene premendo bene al centro ho messo la cameradaria per una notte e l'indomani teneva anche senza liquido che poi ci ho messo. Il nastro mi sembra valido forse non è molto elastico ma è bello spesso

Compré este producto para tubelizar unas llantas Sunringle 40mm. El resultado ha sido optimo.Anteriormente tenia otra cinta pero no era efectiva, así pues me decante por esta de Stans.Pros:- Ideal para llantas de DH y/o llantas de perfil ancho (en mi caso unas 27,5plus de 40mm)- Calidad de la cinta (por apariencia y tacto): impermeable y de difícil rotura.- Fácil aplicación (pega bien pero permite corregir la trayectoria si te equivocas)- No pierde aire (yo le di 2 vueltas para asegurar, pero según las instrucciones con 1 basta)- Da para bastante llantas.Contra:- El precioConclusion: Recomiendo comprar para llantas anchas.
