The Non-Electric Portable Steam Sterilizers use an efficient heat source and a small amount of water to produce enough steam at 15 psi to destroy bacteria and micro-organisms. The safety clamp locks to prevent removal of the cover before pressure is released. This product is low maintenance and requires no accessories for operation. Electric sterilizers have the same features as listed above, plus a 1050 watt immersion heating element. They operate automatically and are controlled by a thermostat and pilot light. A small amount of water is needed to produce dry steam. The product includes a flexible metal exhaust tube and pressure gauge. Electric sterilizers have a valve control and a three-wire grounded plug for added safety.
