Wintcomfort Room Air Conditioner Filter Replacement, 24" x 15" x 1/4" for Window Air Conditioning Unit, Cut-to-fit Window AC Filters

I never intended to use it as an filter for my A.C... I bought it to put on the inside of my window screen ... I live in a development that is under construction. I do not always want to use the AC and I prefer to sleep with my bedroom windows open . The filter color was white, I cut it to half of the window/ how much I wanted open. I rested it against the interior window screen. The next morning I looked to see if it filtered any of the dirt and sand .... OMG! Side exposed to outside air was coated in sand and dirt and surprisingly it also filtered out some pollen . For me that was an unplanned bonus .I wanted to take the use of my experiment to the next level. I took it outside and blasted it with a hose. It came out looking new so I have used the same filter at least five times. After five it may not be as effective or healthy to repeat using it over and over again. I recycle the filter - my small contribution to being environmentally green. Whoever if anyone reads my review I hope they find it helpful. It also keeps my electric bill down, thank you for taking the time to read my review .As you can tell Im really into save two types of green . The recycling and the money I save $$

I purchased this to use as a pre-filter for my mini-splits. I cut them in half and set them on top of the units to prevent dust from getting inside my units. The OEM filters inside the unit are just like door screens and let a lot of dust inside. Seems to be working so far.

Works as advertised. I cut it to size, and it fit my air conditioner. It does cut down on smell and filters fairly well. Can't speak to longevity or durability yet (1 week) but so far so good. Polyester not foam, I do not know if these matters.
