The PerfectDry Lux incorporates a microprocessor that controls optimally the different technologies involved : • The drying with hot air: Therefore, the power and the necessary drying times are reduced. Temperature maintenance chamber is controlled by the electronic system in order to obtain a constant temperature of 45°C / 113 °F regardless of the ambient temperature so as not to damage the hearing aids. • The disinfectant system: Ultra Violet (UV-C) with short wavelengths with the annular arrangement at 360° to disinfect the entire hearing instrument. The exposure to UV-C light allows the elimination of more than 99% of viruses and bacteria and greatly reduces itching and infections of the ear canal. The lamp lights up during the first five minutes of the maintenance cycle and turns off automatically. The efficacy of the disinfection system (bactericidal and fungicidal) is certified by a laboratory 'internationally recognized (Intertek). The tests are consistent with the requirements for disinfection of medical field. The same laboratory performed tests to ensure that the disinfection system does not damage hearing aids.
