Kids love these. We use them daily at work.

We LOVE this product! The results are beautiful!! We’ve done my daughter’s hair several times—mermaid colors, green stripes for St Pattys, and rainbow are our favorites so far.The sticks are easy to use, but I’ve found that putting a hard surface under each strand of hair (I used a tissue box last time) and coloring the top AND bottom of each strand is most efficient for color saturation. I section her hair and work from the bottom to the top, one 1” stand at a time. And while it may feel like you’re coloring the hair for a long time this way, the stick doesn’t seem to go down much (so they’ll last for a very long time and many many uses!). However if you’re just highlighting (PIC #1) you could be done in less than 5min.The only downside to this product is definitely the texture. If you’re saturating the hair in color like in our last two photos it leaves the hair pretty “greasy” looking at first (PIC #2) and “gritty” feeling!! I’ve found that very (!!) gently brushing it when we’re done, and several times throughout the day, really helps with the look and feel of it (PIC #3).Hope this helps!! Oh and yes, it does wash right out!! We haven’t had it stain her blonde hair or bedding, and we’ll typically leave the color in for about 2 days until her next bath.

My daughter loves these hair markers. For reference, she has dark brown hair and the colors showed on her hair . Only negative would be the colors transferring onto her pillow and dry to air when the colors start to fase. She has pretty much used them all up. I will definitely buy again!

My daughter loved using these and I thought the price was right. Her hair is a darker shade of brown, so not every color was vibrant, but I expected that. Each color pen offers alot of applications and it's very simple to do. A few negatives, the tackiness of the hair after application is pretty gross imo. The pictures on the box are pretty deceiving, definitely not easy flowing hair after application, more like you've sprayed your hair with hairspray and an additional mound of gel or mousse. Since the color can be washed out easily, it gets on every surface the hair touches, so stay off of furniture! My daughter had fun with it, I'd recommend it for a one day event thing, like a sporting event, spirit day, or Halloween, that's it.

These worked great! Applied easily and washed out completely. Doesn’t stain skin or clothes.

I LOVE this product and have recommended it to about everyone who will listen. On non-color treated hair, without heat sealing, the hair chalk washed out in one wash with one normal shampoo-but did begin to run onto the neck and ears with some sweating. On non-color treated hair, WITH heat (blow drying, not straightener), the hair chalk took 3 washes (2 days) with normal shampoo. On color treated blonde hair, WITH heat, these bad boys were not too easy to remove. The blue, pink, green, and purple remained for multiple washes, but did get softer after every wash. These four colors were used to create "Mermaid Hair" and it looked FANTASTIC.Blondes: Half of the set is PERFECT for you, and you can still use the others for a less dramatic look. The bright glitter colors are AMAZING. The colors really pop (especially the bright glitter blue and the pink). The ones that I'm describing as not being "perfect" are the silver glitter, yellow, and the light pink. The silver does not show up all too well, the yellow is..well yellow, and the light pink shows up but was not as dramatic as my very blonde daughter would have liked.Brunettes: Some of the set is PERFECT for you, and you can try the other colors but expect less dramatic/bright colors. The lighter and pastel colors really show up, but the bright glitter colors don't really pop like they do on blonde hair.Lastly, and more importantly, these did NOT irritate my daughter's or my VERY sensitive skin.

I was really excited to use this product with my daughter (3 y/o), but was disappointed. First, it's hard to apply. I had to have her lie down on a piece of cardboard and spread her hair out so that we had something to draw against. The pink showed up really well in her hair (she's blonde), but the silver didn't show up at all. I don't know how you would apply it if you have short hair, as there's nothing to draw against. But the main problem I have with this is the texture of your hair afterward! As others have said, it felt like wax almost. For illustration, after I had my daughter lie down and applied this, when she sat up her hair stuck up all over the place. I then brushed it through, but it was SUPER difficult to brush and pulled out strands of her hair. Her hair then felt rough to the touch. I was hoping it would just be a one time problem and afterward her hair would go back to normal, but until we washed the color out, it was really gross to touch. Imagine applying an entire can of hairspray to your hair, sleeping on it, then trying to brush it out the next morning. I am requesting a refund.
