Great leash EXCEPT for PLASTIC component that cracked
I really like this leash. I like that it is reflective and it is strong making corrections easier. The 4 foot length is perfect. That said, the bottom of the leash where it connects to the collar has a plastic piece around where the rope loops. My dog got this piece in his mouth on a walk (he grabs the leash when he wants to run with us) and pulled cracking the plastic. He was not chewing on it like a toy, just grabbed it and pulled. The plastic piece has visible lines on it and this is where it has cracked. One piece is close to falling off after continuing to use it. Not sure why this is plastic as the one on top is leather (pleather). I can not see if the rope is sewn together or merely held together by this now compromised piece of plastic. Strange to see plastic on a leash anyway, especially one touted as being so strong. I have stopped using this leash because I do not trust that it will not come apart while walking my 80 lb lab. FYI, I have only had the leash for 3 weeks and this is only the 3rd leash we have had for the dog. All other leashes still intact, including the one from when he was a puppy. We only purchased this one for the shorter length.

Yes. I have to use two leash for my dog because she's a bit strong (fox bound/jrt). My hands are weak and the loop on the end helps so much. Over and over again I recommend this for owners who have a puppy that pulls.

Great shorter leash! Bought for my Mom and her bouncy standard poodle. Enough room for the dog to bounce without pulling Mom over.Dog is all black, so reflective is a need around dusk. Great padded handle.
