Only had this a week but really like it so far. It’s easy to get your phone into (I have and iPhone 8+) and stays very well. So far the “stickum” is working fine, but experience tells me it may not last. But I’ll find another way to make it stick because I like it.

There's lots to like about this phone mount. First and foremost I like that it holds the phone sideways - The charger cord doesn't pop out every two minutes! Secondly, the phone doesn't jiggle like it did it my previous mount, even though I had to stick it to my dashboard with the sticky ring only hitting on the two ends rather than the whole ring. I loved this so much that after one use I ordered another for my daughter for her car. I had it sent to her house as a surprise and she loves it too! Her previous mount that hooked to her car vent broke a few days prior so she was very happy with my surprise. It keeps the sun off your phone so it won't overheat while charging.and holds your phone nice and snug - with or without the thick phone cover I have.

I think this is a great phone holder. It holds all sized phones in our household. Unfortunately its not going to work in my jeep. I live in Arizona and my dash heats up too quickly. I will be getting another vent clip holder. We are keeping this clam shell holder to use around the house. Its still great for holding the phone at the breakfast bar, desk, coffee table etc.... My daughter uses it at bedtime on her night stand.

It looks very good and the material is not cheap. I like that the back of a device will be closed - very handy in Texas.I bought it for my GPS TomTom. The size is too small so I have to use rubber bands to fix it. It's not a problem. The problem is with my KIA van dashboard - there is flat space on it to fix the holder. So its just sitting on my passenger seat. I gave 5 stars because it is my device and dashboard issue, not the product.Thank you!

Works great even on a slightly curved dash in my 2001 Expedition. When using my phone for GPS it keeps the phone right in my line of sight while driving. Dramatically improves safety because I don't have to take my eyes off the road even for an instant. Almost as good as a true "Heads up" display.

I LOVE this!! It's exactly what I've been looking for and works so well!! I don't like the suction mounts. I have a VW Bettle with a long dash and steeply sloped windshield . I needed exactly this to place my phone where I could see it well & easily reach it. It folds nicely & stores in the glovebox when not in use. It's sturdy & well made!! I highly recommend this!!

It works well, does exactly what I need it to do for my iPhone 7 Plus, I uber and it’s too hot in El Paso to block my vent with a vent mount so this is perfect and my phone is secure in it which is great. The amount of messages they send in the few short days I’ve had this product to hound me about leaving a review is beyond annoying though, which is the only thing keeping me from giving it the full 5 stars.

I've tried them all, window mount, vent clip, suction cup...they all had their flaws. This clam shell holder is the best. In fact, I don't even have it installed yet. It is sitting snugly in the left corner of my dash and has held my GPS there for three months.I like that it is easily adjustable for different sizes and can be closed when not in use. It is the perfect holder!
