Super sharp knife! Very smooth when cutting. The only thing I would change is the tip on the knife is a little bit longer than I love for myself. I have smaller hands- and like smaller knives for when I am cutting. Overall- I really liked this knife.

This unique and clever knife looks like something out of The Seven Samurai. The neat leather sheath could be worn on your belt to really intimidate people, but it's cool to store this weapon-like cleaver. I like the balance and heft of the instrument, and it is wicked sharp for sure. Honestly, I feel special using it! If you like tools that seem a bit "out there" in design, the Purple Dragon delivers for a very fair price.

This is a very nice knife the sheath is nice but feels cheap but is not.Works great on tuna and tog(black fish) and hopefully triggers in the future.When I first got this knife I used it to cut all kinds of food and fruits. Works well.If you have seen the videos in fish markets, this is not that size knife. Its a little smaller.

This knife is fantastic for cutting up fish or anything else you might want to cut up for dinner but be careful it is extremely sharpe and seems to stay Sharpe. I plan to order another one just in case I do some serious deep sea fishing. I also plan to order the other knifes in this group since this knife cuts and handles so well.

Too small

I saw this fish cutting knife on videos of people cutting up huge fish. Being an avid fisherman, and love to cook, I wanted to try a smaller version. Opening the package revealed a well made blade that was pretty sharp. First use was on a turkey. I was able to butcher the entire bird in almost seconds. Push, hack, push, pull- part separates like butter. Fish almost fall off the bones once you get the hang of the design. Amazing!
