My daughter loves this. She is 6 and she just chooses a craft from there and follows to picture instructions. Very good drawn pictures for directions that are all in colour and lots and lots of ideas. There is a nice combination of easy crafts and harder ones for older children or for parent help. No need for me to read to her what it says or to help her with the crafts for the most part for the easier ones because of the picture instructions. Sometimes I need to explain how she is supposed to do something but the crafts are ones she can do my herself for the most part - she is a fairly independent and capable girl though. The harder crafts have less pictures and more words for older kids or an adult to help but I would think any age child from 3 to 8 (or any child interested in crafts still) would love this book if they love crafts.

I like the ideas in this craft book and bought it so my kids can work independently when they want to on some crafts that do not involve a hughe shopping trip to the crafts store beforehand.I am very happy with this book.

This is a fun book for my children. they can open and go. Some crafts need my help, but all in all, it is one they can follow. I have a 5,8,10,12 using it. They love it, Someone mentioned the crafts in it are old hat,...this is true, but the pictures are worth a lot. I have a book with some of these activities in it., My children that are intimidated by words only, find the pictures a great help. We have homeschooled for over 20 years and I find this a great addition, even with repeated projects, to my rainy day-I want to do something different days!

This book was an impulse purchase to go into a Christmas "box" of craft supplies for my 4 year old granddaughter. However, when it arrived I read it from cover to cover and did not see one project that wasn't clearly explained, or that needed oddball supplies that wouldn't be readily available. I was thrilled that my daughter-in-law thought the same. Many projects...easy for both parents and kids...but just plain fun. So glad I stumbled upon it on Amazon.

Most of this stuff, I already have in other books. I did separate them in a new way that I found interesting and easier to locate. The thing that I really wish was there was are the patterns. It tells you how to make the patterns, but I prefer books that have them there for you.

I saw my 6 year old granddaughter looking at the book and making a craft on her own. I work with children of various ages and thought it would be interesting to a variety of ages. Since I started doing the crafts with the children, it has been a great success. Recommend book,

This book inspires creativity in not just the young but the young too! I have had several people say that they would get one for the work they do with young people like Summer Camp, Senior Day Care, After School Programs, Scouts, family entertainment and Decorations for walls. Th is is a really fun and creative book!

I'm babysitting my 5-year old grandchild for the next few weeks. Will be making good use of this book (why I had ordered it).Lots of good ideas.Nicole

Ive brought this book for my friends birthday so she could have some special time with her little one making things. She liked it and made lots of things out of it.
