Nice looking and well made
I wasn’t aware that there are two sizes of “pucks” of soap? I was used to the larger version but having ordered the smaller one by mistake I needed a smaller one. It is very nice looking and very well made. If you need one buy this one!!

High quality, right size
This replaced my last bowl. It is slightly smaller, but this is a good thing. I use Shaving soap, and the round soap fits better in this than the one it replaced. I also didn’t realize that the old bowl had spring a leak. This one keeps my shaving area cleaner.

A bit small
Soap really can’t fit inside, but it lathers ok. Maybe after I use half the bar it can go in there…? Smallish.

Trinket and ring box
This isn’t used for shaving soap so I can’t speak to its effectiveness as a soap dish, but it is absolutely an awesome trinket box on the kitchen windowsill. There’s a second one by the bed for rings and a bracelet.

Works well, good value.
Travels much better than I expected too, and doesn't take up much room in the dopp bag. Note that shave soap seems to come in two sizes, and these are designed for the smaller of the two.

Not Worth Buying
When it arrived, the first thing that I noticed was that the bowl is very small. Once I started lathering up soap with my shaving brush, the shaving foam began to spill out over the sides; long before I could get the lather into a thicker state for shaving. Note that I would always rinse and thoroughly dry the bowl after use. After less than 10 uses (can't recall exactly), the finish inside began to peel off. See attached photos. And again, I was thoroughly drying out the bowl after each use.

Wooden Soap Bowl
I repurposed this item to keep dry herbs in. The curved interior makes for easy removal and the lid is a bonus.

Nice wooden dish, but too small
The soap dish is nicely made, well packaged, and arrived quickly. However, be sure to double-check the product dimensions before you buy. While it technically fits a full-sized puck of shaving soap *by diameter*, it is a very shallow dish and can't be actually closed with the lid when there's soap in the dish (see attached photos). It's going to be tough to work up a good lather and keep your soap from drying out if you use hard soap. I can't imagine that anything other than a travel-sized puck will fit well. Might be a good choice for those who use liquid soap or folks on the go, though.
