Smaller than I thought but still does the trick
I bought these to keep the sealed bag stationary while in the sous vide bath. These work for that purpose. They were much smaller than I thought they would be and I was afraid they wouldn't be strong enough but I put one every few inches across the whole bag and it all works fine.I'm now glad they are small because they are easier to store in a drawer.

Screw rusting
We use this product with our sous vide and the first time we used it the little screws or the rivets started rusting

High quality, strong durable clips
I use a large plastic commercial kitchen storage box with a tightly fitting lid (hole in the corner for the Sous Vide). It does a pretty good job of pinching the edge of my cooking bags in place. I love these clips because they open wide enough to grab both the bag and the side/ lid to keep everything locked in tight during my cook. They aren't necessary (I used to use binder clips), but they are really nice. They also give you 8 in the pack which is more than enough, so in case one gets lost I'm covered (Stolen by a kid for fort-building? These would make INCREDIBLE fort-building clips.)They are easy enough to squeeze open but have a very strong grip with rubber ends to hold the bag tight. They appear to be high quality and would make a great addition to your Sous Vide setup.

Nice clips, but not at all necessary.
I am new to sous vide cooking, and have a tendency to buy some of the suggested equipment before i learn enough about a new product. Since the sous vide containers that I have include a cover, there isn't space to use these clips. For my purposes, I don't think I will be using them, but they may come in handy if you use a pot for your sous vide. They do have nice rubber clamps that would hold bags to the side of the pot, and would prevent the bags from moving with the circulation of the water. If you have a cover for your sous vide containers, these clips aren't at all necessary. The cover will hold the bags in place by extended the edge of the bags under the cover. These clips are more useful to clip onto the bottom of a sous vide bag and insert a tablespoon into the opening just above the clamp for a weight. Using them in this manner you could just as well use Staples; Large Metal Binder Clips, Black, 2" Size with 1" Capacity . With this option, you get more clips for less cost.I gave the clips 3 stars since I can't fault the quality of the clips for the lack of need. I have opted to keep the clips as it wouldn't be worth the shipping costs to return them. Maybe I will find a use for them in time.

Easy to use for sous vide cooking
These are nice clamps that work well for those using them for sous vide cooking. I suppose you might also use them for other things like snack chip clips (to keep the bags closed after opening) among other things, but we use them strictly for sous vide. In the review we gave three stars to the "warmth" question as we are not sure what that is asking, but overall, they do what they are supposed to do and are a good value for the money.

Great Idea BUT ….
I was so excited to get them. What a great idea. They are working as promised but … they are rusting…

If you like constantly reassembling things, these are the clamps for you.
First things first - these clamps are way smaller than they appear in the pictures. That said, they do hold bags in place in the sous vide. The biggest flaw which is SUPER ANNOYING is that the little orange feet constantly pop off. And I mean CONSTANTLY. Open the clamp and place on bag - pops off. Open clamp to remove from bag - pops off. Try to wash - pops off. Dig in drawer for something else and ever so slightly bump against it - pops off. C'mon guys! It's entirely possible to make little pivoting feet that don't pop off if you look at it too hard. Fortunately these were cheap and since they still do the job I can't give them a horrible rating. But I definitely will not be ordering them again. Ever. Because if I find one more little orange clamp footie laying on a counter...
