Gem SoundA-B Box (4852720545)

Not real happy with this. First, when I received it, the front panel was obviously bent. There was something loose inside it so I had to open it up to see what it was (loose screw-in piece to stabilize the light, looked like a motherboard stand-off). Unit seemed to work ok but, the lights are pathetic. With the dimmer turned all the way up I would still be better off with a candle. When I moved my racked from home to my band's practice studio, I was getting electrical interference all night that played havoc with my rig (not sure if it was spikes or what but the crackling was very loud over the pa and it kept shorting out my audio). Don't know if I can blame that on the unit but, I never had that problem before with a regular power strip. Could be that there is no surge protection.

Zero stars. I got the unit and it didn't work at all. I needed the item and didn't have time for a return. I opened the unit's metal casing and it was obvious I wasn't the first one to do so. The face is scratched and so were all the screws to the casing. Resoldered the power supply and works fine now. NOT HAPPY.
