Car Key Fob Keyless Entry Remote fits BMW 3, 5, Series (KR55WK49123, KR55WK49127)

Don’t spend $300 at the dealer. Bought this key because my old fob batteries were not charging enough while driving. Had a local bmw shop program the key. Took under 5 minutes and works perfect.

Had a friend of mine program it. Worked great. Only thing is battery came installed upside down, had to open and turn over.

I tried to program this key using the Xtool 7D, but it would not work. The device reported that the key is defective with error code 256. I followed all the correct steps, but no success. Very frustrating experience.

bought them for my 08 328i but i was unable to program, my scanner indicated wrong or bad key

I bought this key fob for my 2006 bmw 325i and I programmed myself. Very simple process and the best of all this key fob work perfectly. I would recommend it.

Doesn't work on BMW

Worked perfectly. Just remember that if you don't have the tools to code your own keys or know a locksmith that will use your blanks, don't buy this. You can't buy this and go to a dealer and expect them to code it. And most locksmith's only want to sell their keys/remotes because they make so much money on them. People leaving mediocre reviews don't seem to understand the process. Great for DIY and for locksmith who wil allow you to bring your own key fob to save money.

I bought this thinking it was just a replacement case. when I got it, I was shocked to find it has the electronics inside. For $23.62, it's a heck of a deal. I had someone program the fob and it works perfectly. My old key fits inside also, so instead of having one new fob, I have 2 working fobs, one old and one new.

There was an error during programming. Do not buy this key. If you are lucky will work.
