Hoobar Chinese Kung Fu Tea Set, Porcelain Handmade Ceramic Tea Service Fish Tea Cup (7)

The tea set is cute and pretty much as depicted. Unfortunately, the teapot has problems. Because of its small squat body, and something about the spout shape, if you pour the tea slowly, it runs down the underside of the spout and not into the cup. If you pour faster, the tea leaks out under the lid. In order to prevent a big mess, I had to only half-fill the already tiny teapot and be quick about tilting when I pour. Mostly, I just use it over my kitchen sink and accept that I'm losing some of the tea.

This is smaller than I expected, I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be used for the friendship tea ceremony rather than actually drinking tea on a daily basis. The pot holds maybe a cup of water and the teacups hold about two swallows. That being said, it's well made and very cute.so it still works as a decoration or for a (careful!) child's tea party. It came well packaged and I'm pleased overall.

I just received this product today and I'm very pleased with it. I keep seeing reviews about the the size being way too small. This product is ment for gongfu style tea brewing. It is SUPPOSE to be this small. It is a asian style of brewing that uses alot if leaves and little water and brewed many times. Hopefully this clears up some of the bad reviews. I used it today to brew some Oolong tea and it turned out wonderful.

I was very excited to receive this tea set to use as a gift, but when I opened it, i was extremely disappointed in the shape that the product was in. As you can see in the pictures I've uploaded, the top of the teapot is cracked and broken. Several of the tea cups also had some pieces chipped off or cracked, I hope I return it and receive a new set or get a refund.

I bought this set for my 8 year old granddaughter and have enjoyed many impromptu tea parties with her. Set is beautifully made jade pottery. The three dimensional koi fish are delightfully different. A very unique set.

THIS IS A MINIATURE TEA SET!!! I rechecked the posting, and it said absolutely nothing about it being a miniature set. I was planning on returning it, but my nieces 5th birthday is next sunday, and I will be gifting this to her. It will be used as a toy under adult supervison ( as I am sure it was meant to be used before the vendor got deceptive. Anyway, my advise is if you must by a tea set sight unseen, verify the size, and make sure it is right for you.

Beautiful real Chinese tea set. The koi in the bottom are well done! They are tiny, perfect for my granddaughter's party, but they aren't toys. Nice sheen on the china, arrived on time.

Love those cute tea cups. Have afternoon tea with my daughter and she loves them too.
