The barking sound is muffled. It is like a dog is barking inside an interior room rather just behind the front door where the device is placed. Otherwise the device works fine

my friends and family thinks it is a real dog.I had it in my outside back porch then put it in my garage facing the windows works great would be good for your grand parents or elderly still living at home!!

Not worth it
Not sure if our’s was just defected or not but the range is not very far. You had to have motion very close to it to make the sound go off. It stopped working accurately only after a week also. It was returned.
