CreamTone replacement pickguards for the Gibson Les Paul are cut from our template made from an authentic 1959 pickguard. They are the same size with the identical outer wing shape. In fact, this is the same pickguard as our "Absolute Vintage" model, but with tighter pickup ring cuts and countersinks for a more modern fit. It's made from the correct .09 sheet material in a beautiful shade of cream, and we cut them with a router, leaving the chatter marks along the edge, just like the originals. This model is designed to fit your Les Paul Standard, Traditional Classic, Signature T, Studio, or any other production USA Les Paul made since the early 90s. Gibson has never manufactured a Historic Reissue pickguard that fits USA Les Pauls. As you can see in the photos, it definitely takes this Traditional to the next level! Offered in our NOS finish. While not intentionally aged, a few light marks may be present that reflect the handcrafted nature of our parts. Shades of cream may not display correctly on every computer monitor.
