I picked this up after having much frustration with my Xbox Series X refusing to play perfectly clean discs.A small number of older games are backwards compatible, but due to licensing issues, the digital versions of those games are unavailable to purchase on the Xbox marketplace. Some of these games have gotten quite rare and valuable as a result.Cue my disappointment when I began to notice several of these games in my collection fail when attempting to load them in the system after having worked flawlessly in the past.The only options seemed to be attempting to have the discs resurfaced, which is horrible if you're a disc collector as it physically harms the disc. The alternate option was to send the Series X in for a laser repair, which costs more than half the price of the console itself.This disc at a fraction of the price was able to gently clean the lens in a matter of minutes. After just one use, games that I thought would never work again were loading up on the first try.For pennies on the dollar, this lens cleaner is a lifesaver.

I had a ps4pro that was going CHIKA CHIKA CHIKA CHIKA CHIKA WAGH WAGH WAGH WAGH DUH DUH DUH CHIKA CHIKA CHIKA CHIKA CHIKA.*game loads*I had purchased this to see if I can diagnose the laser before removing the drive completely. I'm glad to say that it definitely have results. Instead of before now when I stick a disc in it goes. WHOOSH- CHIKA CHIKA - WAGH.*game loads*Nice! It did work. Getting the disc to load was a different story. I don't know if it was my settings buy I was just getting a black screen, so I had to use my controller to pick "TITLE MENU" to get the disc to work. I ran it twice. Seemed to work great. So, hell I'll use it on all my stuff. Here's the info.Xbox 360: took a few tries to get to read the disc and all of the colors are a negative but it works. It's weird because the ps4pro doesn't exhibit this behavior. Ran it twice and YES it really did seem to help to. Especially with the whirring. 360 likes to whir when it's dirty.Both of my xbox ones: both exhibited different behavior and I had to reinsert the disc multiple times before I was prompted with running the disc and please remember, it sends you to a black screen. You have to press "y" in xbox's case and choose title menu.Wii U: I was curious. It was "invalid disc" and spit that shxt across the room. I bought a cd-disc cleaner it worked fine, as long as it's for cds it will work fine. Don't spend 85 dollars and a disc drive cleaner from nintendo.So, where does that leave us. I believe it worked for me. It was kind of making me mad in an intriguing way. Just curious to see if it worked and as I said. Seems to have worked!!!! Though operation of getting it to work my vary. Very easy to use worked perfectly and quickly, thought I was going to have to buy new Blu-ray players but turns out very easily fixed and fast.

4k disc player having trouble playing some discs. Thought it could be a dirty lens but this cleaning disc didn't help. Not sure if the disc is doing it's job or the player has a different issue. But I scored this only 3 stars because it takes way, way, way too long to get into the disc's cleaning menu. You are forced to sit through several minutes of tutorials each time you try to run the cleaning program. Poorly thought out.Might be worth trying, not sure how it compares to other cleaning discs.

We were unable to install our new EA FC 25 FIFA soccer DVD. The DVD would get stuck during install. After using this cleaner CD, our Xbox One series S was able to install the FIFA 25 soccer game DVD. The Cleaner CD is very simple to use. It only takes minutes to clean the Xbox. After cleaning the Xbox, you have the option of going to the next step and changing the brightness on your TV screen and checking the audio on your speakers. We did not need the other two features for TV brightness or checking audio speakers. I was relieved there wasn't anything wrong with our Xbox and I didn't have to buy a new one or try troubleshooting other steps on the Microsoft website

The media could not be loaded. I have a insignia 32 inch NS-RC9DNA-14 and I followed the instructions and it said it was done cleaning so I took it out and put the disc I wanted to in but again, like it did before I got this today, 9/16/2022, the tv would load the disc in and say no disc briefly before auto ejecting, no matter what way the picture side faced, front and back, and I put this back in and it showed the cleaning bar for a second time and then again went to the audio video setup options so I ejected it again, loaded the same exact disc, plus a different one with no difference and I checked the discs beforehand to see if they were scratched or dirty, but nope, so that is twice in a row this did NOT work and time number three, I put this in and now it won’t even let me press clean again it automatically went to the setup thing so now I’m screwed and can’t try again, unless I’m doing something wrong but I HIGHLY doubt it.

This blu-ray cleaner absolutely does what you expect. I used it on my blu-ray surround system, right away noticed the sound and picture quality enhanced. Totally recommended.
