That Time of The Month Again? The menstrual cycle is the regular natural change that occurs in the female reproductive system (specifically the uterus and ovaries) that makes pregnancy possible. The cycle is required for the production of ovocytes, and for the preparation of the uterus for pregnancy. Up to 80% of women report having some symptoms during the one to two weeks prior to menstruation. Common symptoms include acne, tender breasts, bloating, feeling tired, irritability and mood changes. These symptoms interfere with normal life and therefore qualify as premenstrual syndrome in 20 to 30% of women. In 3 to 8%, they are severe. Just listen to the doctor: “Over 50% of women suffer primary menstrual cramps, for which they consume large amounts of painkillers. Livia uses a pain relief method that does not involve drug consumption. The idea is to close the "pain gates". The device stimulates the nerves, making it impossible for pain to pass. The method Livia uses has been proven effective in several clinical studies and I strongly recommend the use of the device to relieve PMS at any time.” Prof. Bari Kaplan Women’s Hospital - Beilinson Impressive Clinical Result s A leading medical institution conducted an independent clinical study in which 163 women who suffer from significant menstrual pain were given a Livia device. Did Livia help? Did it ever! Fully 80% of the women said that Livia allowed them to significantly or completely eliminate the use of pain medications. Livia: The drug-free solution to menstrual pain. The Best Invention For Women!
Hi, I've been using LIVIA more than a year.To cut a long stroy short, I definitely recommend you to buy it!I had been searching a menstrual pain release gadget, and I finally decided to buy it.Because it has a really nice design with various colors, and is so compact that it doesn't hurt my outfit. My wife has been in a serious menstural pain so long, thus when I told her that I found it, she really loved it.After she used this for a first time, she said it extreamly helps to reduce abdominal pain. Before she met this gadget, she had been using a heat pad.She said that it could reduce the pain a little, but it was heavy and big, also hard to carry around. She really love it, really!Thank you, LIVIA!If you're hesitating to buy this because of the price, I definitely recommend you to buy it.It really works well, and it is so cute and compact that you can carry this every time, everywhere.※ To pruduct delvelopers, why don't you sell this in Korea? I belive that you'll gonna make a history for sure!

Maybe like a distraction for my brain
I have debilitating menstrual cramps so I bought this to try. However, I'm not sure if it worked. Maybe like a distraction for my brain, so instead if focusing on the excruciating pain, it focuses on the weird electrical sensation that numbed my body and face, which was kind of uncomfortable but better than feeling like you're going to pass out from cramps. I ended up returning the unit and just bought a regular tens unit for a fraction of the price of Livia. It's not a magical product, just a pretty tens unit.

Amazing Product! One of the few things that helps my wife quickly when she's in pain.
My wife has horrible cramps during "that time". This has been absolutely wonderful for her! The relief is almost immediate when she turns it on. It boosts her mood and does away with the pain. She and I highly recommend this to any ladies that deal with tear-bringing pain on their monthlies.

It helped!
I get really bad cramps. This helped. It didn't take them away 100% but I wasn't in horrible pain crying Still took some ibuprofen with this.

So overall not great experience, including the lagging of customer service response
I bought this directly from the Livia website. Due to the fact that they don't have a customer review section, I'm leaving my reviews here.1. It took a long time for the product to get to me because it's shipped from Israel2. It didn't work. After the 2nd day I even felt a bit nauseous.3. When I contacted customer service to return it given their "60 days money back guarantee" they informed me that I have to pay for the shipping back to Israel and it needs to be trackable. This is not the kind of "money back guarantee" I was expecting...So overall not great experience, including the lagging of customer service response.

Super helpful
I ordered mine through the their crowdfunding campaign but I wanted to leave a review. This device is amazing. I normally have debilitating cramps on the first day of my period even with Advil, but with this device I was able to go to work and feel relatively normal. You still feel something- but it's just a buzzing sensation, not pain.

Minor drawbacks, but it helps
This was purchased for me by a loved one that saw how much I suffered with cramps. It helps, definitely, but there are some drawbacks. My main complaint is in the electrodes - the parts that stick to your skin - they are super annoying. The sticky stuff comes apart. I have a different TENS machine (which may actually help in the same way - I’ll have to try it) and the sticky stuff isn’t nearly so weird. I always have to pull extra gel off my belly when I’m done using Livia. Also, my electrodes are kind of star shaped - it is a soft rubbery material, but those pointy bits aren’t very comfortable. These electrodes were made for someone with a super flat stomach (I know very few women with flat stomachs!) who isn’t going to be sitting up all day. When I sit up, my belly pushes the electrodes so they are bent/smooshed in a way that makes the points dig in. Small price to pay for having my cramps reduced, but I thought it may be worth mentioning. If I worked an office job where I sat up all day, I’m not sure the reduction in cramps would be worth the irritation from the electrodes. But I am a substitute teacher, so for the most part, I can decline jobs if needed when I’m feeling miserable. Also worth noting: I still have to take Advil when using Livia. Advil by itself brings my pain down from about 8 to about 5. Advil + Livia brings it down to about a 2-3.
