Epic Animal Oil, Beef Tallow, 11 Ounce (Pack of 2)

The product was awesome but Amazon shipping broke one of the jars box was greasy and so was packing....outside looked perfect...I think bubble wrap and a piece of paper wasn't going to stop jars from breaking do better amazon!!!

I do have a sensitive stomach but as long as food isn't rancid or somehow bad, I'm usually fine. This tallow gave me horrible digestive issues. If you buy it on the shelf, at a store, its white with no smell but the product that are supplying to Amazon is yellow, with a bad smell and taste, and a loose texture. The good, quality kind of tallow, that I have had, have been white with no smell and a thick, tough texture. I was continually ordering this tallow, through Amazon, and I thought I was becoming sensitive or allergic to beef; spending lots of miserable time in the bathroom and feeling sick, even losing time with work. I just happened to have run out of the tallow, that I had been ordering from Amazon. So I bought some Epic tallow, from the grocery store. It had a brighter color and thicker texture with no smell or bad taste. For days, while I was cooking with this jar of tallow, my stomach issues went away and I started feeling much better. Then a new batch of Epic tallow came in from Amazon and I tried it. I wasn't even halfway done eating when my stomach started turning and the next thing you know, I was right back in the bathroom with the misery again. I will never eat this tallow again. Maybe from the grocery store, off the shelf, if its the only one available, but would need to be white with a tough texture and no smell or bad taste. Something is going on here. I'm suspicious that they are giving Amazon there bad batches of this product or it is being overheated through storage or something like that.

I can’t speak more highly of this product!! I actually use it as a face wash, my skin has never been so clear and so soft! Do yourself a favor and ditch all the other toxic products you’ve been using and invest in this! (make sure it’s grass fed) otherwise it will have a much stronger odor! Great value for the price!

I got this beef tallow for several reasons (cooking, making sunscreen, and as a body moisturizer). It exceeded my expectations. There is a slight odor to the tallow so when using for skin you will need to add an essential oil but that's fine. I am appreciative and grateful we have better choices when it comes to our skin care and health.

I really enjoy the flavor of this beef fat. It does have a bit of a strong smell, but it isn't that bad to me at all. The taste is worth it. chicken, pork, and beef have a more intense flavor when i sear them in a pan. Eggs wil never be the same, because the tallow and a little real butter give them an epic flavor. I even mixed some into oatmeal and it gave it a smooth and moist finish, but no beefy taste. Will buy again.

too thin for whipped body tallow . . . it melts pretty quick, other then that it's good.

I use this product on a daily basis to insure enough grass fed animal fat intake. It enhances the taste of any animal product that is cooked in it. The reported Omega 3's are very healthy as compared to the Omega 6's in corn fed beef fat. It fits in very well with a Mediterranean Keto diet. Do Not use with a SAD diet. SAD = Standard American Diet
