Fit my Packasport cargo container
Lost keys, had to drill out old lock. New lock assembly cost $40 on Packasport website plus $15 shipping. $55.It's just a cylinder lock. Didn't look like anything special so tried this. Installed easily & fit perfectly. Saved $45.

Not bad
Had to replace due to keys being lost on a 20 year old Husky toolbox. Had to file the latch just a hair to get the swing right to release the key when locked. Took less than a minute. No biggie.Install was easy and straight forward. Much cheaper than a new toolbox.

OK but tricky to install
These fit the exiting lock hole perfectly. There is a cam on the back side you can flip to open left or open right. Nice feature but the lock can go in up or down and you have no clue until the open direction you though was right is now backwards. Best to use a marker to mark the top side before flipping the cam.The only other big issue is it comes with 2 styles of latches- straight and a hook. The straight was the same length as the old lock. The hook was nearly 2x as long. Had to hack saw the bottom angle part flat to open the access, so it will latch. It does so with 1/2 of slop. Good enough.Would suggest they state the lengths of the latches so one could compare to the existing latch before buying.

Beyond junk
Upon install of this lock, the nut was fine but the threads into which the nut screws on to stripped out when finger tightened. I never even got a tool on it before it completely failed. Don't even waste your time or money.
