Gorgeous wooden shades and sturdy
I found these lamps recommended on Wirecutter (NYTimes) and they are beautiful and fit perfectly with my mid-century home with wood veneer walls that are a darker color than these lamp shades. So the shades stand out and give out a soft warm glow. Very easy to put together and they stand up straight and solid. Best price was here at Amazon - Lowes and Walmart had them in stock but for $100 more!

Looks higher end, for less
Found this lamp through the New York Times Wirecutter recommendation. This lamp looks pretty good for the price and has held up in a house with crazy kids crashing into it.

Love this lamp!
This table lamp is extremely stylish, yet understated. I already have the floor lamp, so I was happy to find the matching table lamp. It emits just the right amount of light and is well made. It shipped quickly/ packaged well. Amazon had the best price compared to other websites. Very happy with this purchase!

Wrong color received and had to return 2 lamps
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I ordered two black floor lamps but I received two white floor lamps in their place. I had to return both lamps, which was not easy. These are big boxes. The shades are one piece which is a great sign when purchasing a lamp. This review is strictly based on me receiving two lamps of the wrong color and having to return them, which turned out to be a pain. The one star review does not reflect the quality of the lamps because the Adesso lamps are of high quality.

Wouldn't buy it again
Kind of trashy construction. The shade ring sits right at the level of the power switch stem so your fingers cannot easily grasp just the stem. Also there was no socket ring supplied to hold down the shade so it rocks around if you touch it because it is totally loose. Looks nice but very poorly designed.
