Self-Closing Optical Tweezer

I would not call these High Quality tweezers but they are adequate. The addition of vertical and horizontal tiny screw holding slots in the tip are what earned these 4 stars for me. They are the first I have seen with this nifty feature tough there are other tweezers out there that also have this capability.Jay

The handles on this tweezer have plastic grips riveted to them so that your hands contact the grips rather than the metal of the tweezers. But one of the grips wasn't riveted properly so it swivels around rather than protecting your hand. The package was intact; this must have slipped by quality control (if there is any). But it will cost me more in time and money to ship it back than it's worth, so I'll probably try to glue the grip back on or put some tape over it to keep it in place.Very disappointing.

These work good; I still prefer the ones from Hilco Optical Supply. This pair is a little longer on the tips to hold a eye wire screw in compared with the other brand.

Holds eyeglass screws very well

optical tweezers use laser beams. i don't see any laser emitters and self "closing" optical tweezers are unheard of if not impossible, please at least change your product name.what optical tweezers REALLY are: [...]
