Great idea, nicely made, easy to use!
This is a genius idea. My younger daughter, who is almost two, is obsessed with dismantling things and particularly enjoys pulling out any power cords she can find. This prevents her from putting anything into the outlet once she's unplugged the lamp/surround sound system/whatever. It's also way easier to use than those little plug protectors you can buy, which are notoriously hard to remove.Installation: These were really easy to use and came with all the components needed for a quick, simple installation—even little matching screw covers to provide a seamless look. They're the same size as regular outlet covers and are made of heavyweight plastic, so they're really solid and feel like high-quality things. I paid about $7 for two of them, and I think they're great value for money and plan to purchase more. Go for it!

FIRE HAZARD!!
I loved the idea of this but within 6 months both the top and bottom outlet had melted and burned.I think that the plastic touches the metal prong, so when it heats up with electricity the prong just passes the heat through.Must throw away immediately- again I'm bummed because I loved the functionality, but I can't justify trying it again because who knows what could have happened if we didn't catch it in time!!

Great outlet covers. Why can't all normal outlet covers be like this? They work well and I feel much safer using them over plug covers which can be pulled off, or get lost if you take one off to use the outlet. If you have a baby or pets, definitely get these!

Great Covers!!!
I love this! I get to have a nice crisp look to my outlets but they are child proof. Well as child proof as it can be when my 3-year-old sees me do it lol. Do yourself a favor and get some they are a great investment and super easy to change out for your old outlet covers.

Pointless
These are awful....the outlets are not spring loaded so they don't close automatically if a child was to pull something out of the outlet....and that's the whole point
