After 5 years the first one started to fray - one snap broke and the bottom lining started coming off and the top started to be thin. It was washed about 5-6 times a year. One to two dogs who love to dig in the car nearly daily so am impressed that it lasted so long that when it came time to replace I purchased the same product. I have friends who have cheaper car seat protectors and they appear flimsy so did not want to take a risk. I like that this one is a heavier build.

I'm giving a 3 star review because this isn't going to work for my intended purposes. The product itself seems great for it being for dogs. I will say the seatbelt holes are not great if you intend for this cover to stay on for kids and such. It bulges in the middle even when all slack is pulled through the straps in the top, and when it is pushed down the seatbelt covers pop up past the buckle. So you would have to reach in every time to buckle by pulling the velcro apart. May be okay with your kids, but not passengers in a ride share. Overall just disappointing, because why include a dysfunctional seatbelt opening? I should be able to have them accessible at all times, and the material should lay flat. Both do not seem possible right now so I will be just returning the item as it won't work for me. I measured my seats and ordering the larger size will not work for it either.

Good fit, easy to install, and appears to be very durable. Looking forward to providing a comfortable place for my pup and keeping the car clean to boot!

These are the best seat covers out there. At least so far. However, the coating on the cover that gets exposed between the front seats get a lot of direct sunlight, and that area has started delaminating. I'll probably just put duct tape over that spot. It's lasted 3.5yrs so far. The rest of the cover is still in tip top shape and still waterproof. I originally bought the size XL in black for my Tacoma, but it was a bit too large. Still kept it and used it.Recently bought a size L in the grey, but it's a much lighter grey than the stock photos and have almost a mint blue tint to it. It's harder for things I place behind the front seats to be hidden visually, since my seat covers are black, so I'm returning them. Will probably get a size L in black again.

This dog car seat cover is great so far. The fabric has texture and my husky happily slept during extreme ice and snow conditions for our area.Her paws have been wet- having gone through ice, snow, slush, runoff, and mud- The fabric looks great.She has calmed down some in the car.The one thing I may alter is the area between the two front seats. I would like something that strengthens that barrier.Before I ordered, she had started stepping onto the center area and either getting in front of my view or pushing into me on unsteady footing.I used the included bungee line that clips into a seat belt. I like it. With changing snow and ice on the roads, I can keep my focus on them now (without weird interruptions).Setting a bag underneath the cover (in the feet area) keeps the bag safe from her curious searching.I am happy I bought it. I think it will hold up and serve our needs well.(I have a Chevy Tracker- the largest size is 1-2” too big between the fastened parts. I sew, and am going to fix that. My husky likes to use the fabric between the front seats as a hammock for her head. I'm sewing in a reinforcement to strengthen that line.-The fabric is tough- it's worth it to me to fine tune it.The smaller, universal size, might not have needed adjustments because the distance between the two points could be straight.)

We initial ordered one for our truck and it has lasted. We had ordered a different product for our Jeep and it has already torn and worn out. Since the one in the truck is still going strong, we decided to order this same product for our Jeep. We have been really satisfied with this product.

Great products thank you very much my dog loved it but unfortunately he passed away after only being able to use it a few times. I passed it on to a friend and I love it as well great product.

This one actually fits across the rear seat. The 'handles' also allow proper fit so the top straps do not pull out.

Product doesn’t stay in place well and it’s started ripping on the underside. Looks like it lasted just long enough to get past the return date. Would not buy again
