Exact replacement fit
It was an exact fit replacement, and I received two of them because apparently this is one of the weak points of the engine; these rubber/plastic hoses eventually deteriorate from the fuel. Only problem with it was the rubber grommet which was a pain to insert properly, but that’s a given since a tight seal is required. Overall a good product so far. I’m pleased.

Fits Velvor Earth Auger D52-F
Being unable to find the equivalent part for Earth Auger D52-F, I took a chance on this part. The rubber grommet is real tight but it can be persuaded to fit the opening in the fuel tank. The fuel lines are the same size and fit the carb fine.

It fits with a tiny bit of help from 3/4" drill bit
It fit my Harbor Freight Predator Post Hole Digger but I needed to make the hole in the tank just a tiny bit bigger using a 3/4" drill bit. Helps if you spray a little silicone or WD too.

Kind of Doesn't Fit WE43 Edger
Update on original review (included): The old grommet didn't hold and leaked. So, I removed the tank and took another look at the new grommet. It actually has a lip that sort of unfolds and the annular groove does fit the gas tank wall thickness. It is a challenge to get it installed, but it did seal well. With that, the tubing provided is still too short and I needed to splice it.OriginalIt says on the compatibility list it fits the edger. Well, neither supply or returns lines were even close to being long enough. The annular groove around the grommet is narrower than the gas tank wall thickness, therefore would not catch so I could try to work it into the hole. So, I couldn't tell you if the diameter was even correct. I needed to use the edger, so I reused the old grommet and spliced the broken lines to the new ones using brass tubing. I then sealed around the old grommet with Permatex aviation sealer. All stuff I already had on hand. Why can't things ever be right and plug and play? I wasted my money once again, believing someone had it together.
