EBBO 270XL 271XL Compatible Ink Cartridges Replacement for Canon PGI-270XL CLI-271XL Work with Pixma TS9020 TS8020 MG7720 Printer (PGBK/BK/C/M/Y/G, 6-Pack)

I was very wary of trying a non-brand name ink cartridge in my Canon printer. It was practically new and I didnt want to chance it since my experience with non-brand name cartridges before was less than stellar--blacks that printed gray, inks that plugged up the heads. Not good experiences at all. But when faced with an $80-$90 price tag for all 6 cartridges that my Canon takes, I thought I would give these a try. All 6 cartridges for $14.99 was an amazing price and the company seems to be very responsive and urged me to contact them if I had any questions or problems. Its been about a week with me printing off some text pages, mostly recipes and the biggest test...4x6 glossy photos. I dont see any difference between these tanks and Canon's as far as ink quality. The printer recognizes them as Canon tanks which is a big bonus. The only slight problem I had was the labels starts peeling off on some of the tanks and stuck inside the machine but I just pulled those out and ripped off the label and we were good to go. If I do have issues, I'll be sure to update but for the moment, Im very happy with these tanks. Well worth the money. The fact that Canon tanks were going to cost me as much as I paid for the printer is insane

I was very grateful to find this ink which cost a great deal less than the printer's own brand. Otherwise, instead of ink, I would have purchased an economy printer which would have cost about half of what the replacement ink for this printer costs and would have had to give up some of the special features of my current printer which was a gift. I doubt that I would have bought it for myself knowing how much it would cost to replace the ink. It's been a few weeks since I installed the EBBO ink and I have had no problems at all so far and I have printed at least one thing every day. I am hopeful that the ink will continue to give me the high quality printing that I am experiencing.New comment;The larger black cartridge quit working even though it showed there was still ink left. I tried cleaning (numerous times). and aligning but nothing worked. I purchased more ink and hoping I won't have the same problem.

Originally I reviewed this at 2 stars and said that it didn't work. That was a total error on my part: I was replacing the ink in my new Canon TS9020 for the first time and grabbed the box I thought contained the EBBO cartridges I had ordered several weeks back so I would be ready for this occasion. Several of the replacement cartridges leaked before I got them installed; Once I got in, the printer failed to recognize them and wouldn't print, preventing me from completing my work. I ordered the OEM Canon cartridges and then posted a negative review of the EBBO cartridges. Today, to my embarrassment, I found another box next to my printer stand that contains the EBBO cartridges I originally ordered. The cartridges I installed were actually some I had on hand for my old printer that I had never opened. They fit, almost.I probably haven't used the EBBO 's enough to justify a 5-star review, They fit and they're about 1/4 the price of the Canon cartridges. I'm pretty sure I"ll be buying them from now on.

I hesitated to write a review until I had thoroughly tested the ink, but I now feel quite comfortable giving Ebbo cartridges a good recommendation. In the past, I had purchased various "compatible" ink cartridges, only to be disappointed because they were difficult to insert into the printer or seemed to leak the ink. I have just started to use these cartridges, so don't know at this point how many prints I can get from them. I'll add to this review later if I feel they're not quite as advertised. I did read a review which suggested removing the label before inserting because he had the experience of having labels stick and interfere with printing. I thank that reviewer for such a good tip.

I've purchased this ink since I got my Canon MG7720 printer in Aug 2017. It works perfectly, registers in the printer, prints great color, and is SO affordable. I recently reordered the ink and a clip on one of the cartridges was broken so the printer wouldn't recognize it. I was in a hurry and had to use the other cartridges right away so I didn't even consider returning it for a replacement. I figured if one didn't work it wasn't a big loss. A few days later, I received a follow up email from customer service asking how the product was and I mentioned this issue to them not expecting much. To my surprise, they quickly offered to replace the entire set of ink and within a couple days, I have already received it! Great customer service and great product!

Ink was not what I expected. The colors are off by many tones. For cheap prints ok, but for formal work presentations or photography prints... better get the good stuff.*** I was contacted by EBBO customer service soon after the review was first posted and was very impressed by the professionalism and good service given to me by "Mary" who gave me several options regarding the ink cartridges, I decided to go with the refund and was impressed again by the exceptional time it was issued back to me. ***Many thanks.

This is the second time I have ordered this set of inks. The first time they worked flawlessly -- as good as the original Canon ink. The last time they lacked quality -- the color ink has not been as bright and they do not mix well to display the expected colors. The black ink has been acceptable. I will try other options the next time I need ink.Dec. 2017 - I should add that EBBO contacted me and offered to send me a new set ( I did not get the ink due to some Amazon policy that would not allow EBBO to send the ink directly??). EBBO issued a refund. Because I did not get the ink -- and I think EBBO could have sent the ink on their own-- I still stand that mynlast experience was a disappointment. I grant that this was mynexperience and it seems most people are satisfied with the quality of the ink.
