Update: After due consideration, I have updated my initial review from one to three stars. These ARE real stainless steel. The only problem is that they are TOO high a grade of stainless steel. They do not need to be such a high grade to resist the environment in a typical kitchen. So, be aware that if you use magnet bars (which are awesome) to store your frequently used utensils, high-grade stainless will not stick to them. If you MUST have such high grade stainless, then why no go all the way to a REALLY high quality tool like those made by All-Clad. At least then, they last forever and look great hanging from hooks.Initial review below.These APPEAR to be well made. However, they are NOT steel! They will not stick to a magnet bar like my old stainless steel cups did. I'm thinking about returning them.

I bought these because I got tired of the measurement markings wearing off my measuring cups. I cook and bake a lot and use measuring cups often. I have bought countless sets of cups only to have difficult to read markings or to have them fade or rub off, leaving them useless to me. These sturdy stainless cups have the measurements stamped in the metal so they are forever!

Very easy to use, easier to clean die to stainless steel. Very handy for measuring, prepping for baking and very easy to read the markings.

The Cougar Chef measuring cups are amazing. I was looking for durable and accurate measuring cups. These fit the bill. I wish I had purchased them years ago. They are pricey, but when I consider how many sets of plastic and metal cups sets I have bought thru the years, I wasted a lot of money. I will buy these as gifts in the future.

Very substantial and sturdy for the price. My husband's our household's cook and he loved them. He had bought a different set from Bed Bath & Beyond and decided this set was nicer. It is unique, because the set includes the elusive 2/3 measuring cup!

I was very impressed with the quality of these measuring cups. I have been looking forever for this kind ok quality. I am very pleased. I would say you won't be disappointed, and I believe that but I know too that every cook/Chef has their own preference.

I wish the handles design was a little longer. Otherwise, love not having a seams and happy to have purchased.

I am thrilled with this set. It is hard to find a full 6 piece measuring set. And they are strong and will clean-up easily too.
