Love these kitchen shears. Our last broke but these seem very durable. They come apart easily to clean and cut very nicely

These shears arrived nicely packaged in a box with Japanese text. They felt hefty and inspire confidence that these are nice quality. I first used them on a whole roasting chicken. They just snapped through all the bones as needed to quickly cut it up and leave most of the meat de-boned for marinating it for that night's dinner. I usually use just a knife or both a knife and shears for this job, but I just didn't feel like putting these shears down. And that is saying something because I love my 10" Wusthof chef's knife that I use for this task. The blades are nice and tight and with the serrated edge on one side, just grip onto bones as easily as chicken skin to cut right through. I was only hoping that they would be this impressive.I don't plan on losing these shears, but if I ever take and forget them to a friend's house and they refuse to give them back; or I am enjoying plenty of wine while cooking and just gift them to one of my guests in awe with these things, I would absolutely buy them again!Great kitchen tool. They look good, feel good in the hand and work great. A wonderful product that more than lives up to the expectation for some quality crafted Japanese shears.For me personally, the only thing that would make these even more enjoyable to use, is if the thumb hole on the upper thumb handle was a little bigger. But that of course, depends on size of user's hands.These get an easy five stars from me -and I love good cutting tools.

I love how sharp and light the kitchen scissors are. They come apart for cleaning and are very comfortable to use. Great product.

My wife chewed me out for replacing our Rubbermaid scissors for these but she's come to appreciate that I was right even if she won't admit itEasier to clean. More durable. The serration makes them super effective at cutting. And they look pretty swank too

Sharp! Great for cutting up everything from chicken breast to bacon

i bought a two-pack of shears about a year ago from amazon which i thought would be great, easy to handle and clean etc.. but not only did i find out that they weren't, they also lost their sharpness fairly quickly which sucked..i purchased these shears thinking they'd be completely made of metal materials, but it appears only the shears are titanium-coated while the handle is some sort of plastic/pc blend.. not what i expected, but nothing that detracts from the experience either.these shears feel great in your hands, much lighter in weight than i expected but--dare i say it--they perform brilliantly. i also love how easily they come apart for cleaning. they are only removeable at a very obtuse angle, moreso than most folks (including those with large hands like mine) could manage on their own.. so no worries about these accidentally coming apart during usei've only had them for about a week, but YEA! so far so good to me, huge thumbs up! very happy---UPDATE: lowered the rating from 5 stars to 4 after a couple of months of use because the adjustment/tension screw (in the middle which connects the blades) just so happens to RUST! gotta say, i'm quite annoyed that the manufacturer chose to use a non-galvanized or corrosion-resistant screw, so now i have to apply a protective layer to the screw myself via electroplating 😡 just an FYI to any would-be buyers out there..

Well made. Extremely sharp blades that cut effortlessly through almost any kitchen challenge. Far better than shears I have purchased in the grocery store. Comfortable to hold and cut with. To me, it’s a great value as I believe these will last a long time.
