Kartboy 02-07 WRX Short Shifter & Bushing Combo 5spd KB-002-WRX-combo

Quick note, if you have a factory STI short shifter this will not fit.Initially it did not fit my 02 WRX wagon. After asking the provider, they contacted the manufacturer and determined that I had a factory short shifter option already. They replaced the shifter quickly and efficiently. The shifter is shorter the angle seems about the same though, but it feels more solid and has a better weight to it. The real game changer was the bushings. After changing them the shifts felt alot more smooth and solid and there was less play. overall great upgrade.

The shifter is exactly what it's supposed too, only problem is that this model number is said to fit a 2008 outback, this is incorrect, the ball on the bottom is to small but wrapping it in electrical tape to match the original size worked, the bushings look to be the wrong size ht haven't installed them yet.

Easy install all parts and hardware was all included, feals great

Shifter does not fit way too wide for the oem. Have to do bend the metal to get it to fit now
