A Classic Parker Pen
My father has had this style of pen as long as I can remember. I noticed he had lost his before we moved him into a memory care facility, so for Father’s Day we replaced it. He was thrilled!!This style is especially advantageous because the waffle imprint prevents the pen from sliding around while you’re gripping it. Refill are easy to find. Finally, it’s spiffy looking, with a reliable and classic design that holds up to years of use.

Very nice pen.
Writes fantastic and feels like a good old fashioned Parker. Beware of the cheap China made copies sold on the auction sites. They are total junk. If you don't want to spend the big bucks on a platinum Montblanc, this is the alternative and feels like quality. Great compromise. Parker does a great job with the pen but as always, remember; a pen is only as good as its cartridge. I've seen some very bad 3rd party Montblanc replacements that are garbage and should be avoided. Same with Parker, Schaefer or other ink replacements. Overall, great. Not cheap but nothing like the high dollar pens.Pros: Quality, feel, and performance.Cons: A little pricey. Don't get it if you are prone to losing pens/pencils like so many I know. Otherwise, yes and yes.Recommended? Yes.

Classic Writing Tool
Beautiful and classic looking ink pen. Well balanced and a real keepsake. My mom had given me one years ago that got misplaced and never found. Now I replaced it and I am so glad this pen is still available.

Not my father’s Parker
While it is still a pretty pen, this pen is of a far thinner gauge of silver than the pen I had in 1970. The etching is not as deep. The pen is not as heavy and feels light with a thin barrel. The overall quality is not the same. I was expecting my father’s Parker and got instead a flimsy imitation.
