Q: Can the company please comment and let me know if the cups can hold up to 450 degree hair straightener?

I'm worried about this too, almost all holders with "heat resistant cups", say that they're great for putting the tool in as it cools.. BUT what about when it's in use? I would love a reliable holder that I can put my curling wand/iron and flat iron in instead of relying on a flimsy metal teeny thing that you balance the very end of the tool on and hope it doesn't roll off (which often happens because of an offset cord), and I just don't trust laying 450°F things on the silicone mats, I own 3 and still haven't used them, convinced they'll melt (I mean my flat iron melted my metal 3 tier rolling cart after it rolled and the plates were touching it... So silicone won't melt though? *sigh* so sorry for the rant

Q: Would this organizater fit the dyson blow dryer? I know its not industry standard shape

I do not own a dyson blow dryer so I can’t answer as to whether the dryer end would fit down into the cup but, you could just put the handle of it in the cup part if you wanted to with the cord curled around the handle. That what I do with my large, oval shaped brush dryer. Just a suggestion. Hope that helps.

Q: Are the cups big enough to hold the Revlon brush/hair dryer?

They are 3 1/2 inches across the top and 2 1/2 on the bottom

It does not have a surge protector. It does not plug in anywhere. However it is a great item to hold hair dryer, crlinf iron. etc. I love mine. It keeps my countertop neat.
