Fail :/
Plugged it into an old LED LG tv using AV cables. Plugged in my fire stick. It worked for less than a minute. No amount of resetting or unplugging would boot up the device again. SO disappointed.

Does exactly what it supposed to do
I have been wanting to get one for a while .I have a tv with HDMI compatibility but I want it for one of my rooms That still have an older version TV that does not have an HDMI hook up. The HD video converter not only is easy to set up but there is no need to install a new program .I noticed on the back of the box one of the feature says "low-power no need to power supply" but I did have to connect it to a the wall outlet In order to get signal but being that it's for an older TV that's what you expect more use of connections/cords . I used AV cables red white and yellow to hook up straight to the TV then I hooked up the HDMI cord to my TV and put my phone to connect . The only thing I did not like is how blurry the words were but being that it was only less than 30 inch TV I don't think that it was this device that caused it . When I turned on Netflix it was much clearer everything that is on my phone was mirroring to the TV . If you're looking for a device that needs an HDMI compatibility this might be great for year I did review this for a lower price
