Nice very functional bench but for the price the wood could be better. I bought this for my shower button came with a split leg. The second one had a splintered shelf (a small six inch piece) and rather than return it, I wood glued it back together. Several months in now another leg has a small split opening up in the grain. I plan to buy some teak oil and see if I can save it from opening further. I do not use it in the shower but instead just use it a s a bench after showering to dry off. I would not recommend.

My husband and I both love this bench. We recently redid our first floor bathroom changing from a tub/shower combination to a walk in shower and this bench was the perfect finishing touch. I really didn't want to use space on a built in tiled bench, which was our other option. I love being able to sit and wash my feet or shave my legs without having to balance a foot on the edge of a slippery tub. There is no concern that the bench will be unsteady etc ! We never did treat this with teak oil.. I was too impatient to wait for it and our local hardware store had none in stock. So far, it is just perfect!

I realize this could be used in the shower, but I really wanted a small stool to sit on and dry off after coming out of the shower. This one really fit the bill. It's small enough to fit in a tight place, but it's also very sturdy. Be advised that you do have to put it together, but it really wasn't that difficult. It's really very well made, and is an attractive addition to the bathroom. I think I may put a few more teak items around to blend it all in.

It was easy to assemble & it looks great! The wood was very dry so I'm oiling it with teak oil once a month for awhile.

It's just the right size for putting on our shoes. We don't have room for a big bench in our foyer. The price was right, the wood is very pretty.I didn't give it 5 stars because we had trouble with the assembly. The directions aren't real clear.

only had it month. it sits in my shower full time as a shelf for bath products. so far so good
