My daughter is very happy. Her charger blew out and i ordered this charger was delivered fast and work great with my daughter's Dell XPS

I bought this to replace the broken power adapter for my XPS 15 L502X.The good: Works fine. No errors when booting the machine about inappropriate power adapter. $25 vs $90 to buy the official Dell power adapter. The computer runs at full speed again (as the old adapter died it would only run in low power mode).The bad: The power brick is awkward, heavy, and has a relatively short cord. The length of the cord, the weight of the power brick, and the placement of the power brick make for an awkward arrangement. I have to be careful where I plug in the computer and sit because if the power brick is not supported it will pull the cord out of the computer. This is really only an issue because of the placement of the brick on the cord. The cord from the brick to the computer is too short to put the brick on the floor and have the computer on my lap or a desk. The brick has to be on the desk, lap, an arm of a chair, etc but the length of the cord from the wall to the brick is short so I have to be pretty close to a plug. If the brick would have been closer to the wall plug so it could sit on the floor and the cord from the brick to computer longer I think it would solve a lot of these issues.In the end I can deal with some discomfort since the adapter seems to be working great and is a quarter of the price of the official adapter. I’m happy with it.

Edit:Immediately after posting about my charger that stopped working, the seller contacted me and rushed out a replacement at no cost. The replacement arrived quickly and works great. I'm very pleased with this product, but more importantly I'm pleased by the customer service provided.Original Review:It worked as advertised for quite a while - I thought I had made a great purchase. However, just shy of three months after I bought it, it has failed and isn't recognized as a 130W AC Adapter anymore. Thus, it can power the computer but will not charge the battery. I've tried numerous troubleshooting steps including disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, reseating all of the cables, and even uninstalling and then reinstalling the battery and AC Adapter drivers. None of these worked. On the other hand, my wife's OEM Dell charger does work as normal with my machine, so the problem is definitely with this adapter.

This charger came working fine out of the box. It is now 38 days since I ordered the product, and it has failed. This is 8 days outside of the return window. I guess I get to choose a computer I want to use in advance so I can be sure they are both charged. Seller, make this right by replacing the item so I can change this to five stars.-One VERY disappointed shopperEdit: Seller contacted me the day I wrote this review to offer a free replacement, no questions asked other than confirming shipping address. I have been using this charger for about ten days and it is working as well as the DELL original being sold for 90 bucks. Would have given this product 5 stars except the cord from the charger to the laptop is too short. It needs to be long enough to allow the heavy charger to set on the floor and not pull on its connection to the laptop.

I have a Dell 5577. I purchased this adapter after loosing my main charger. The one thing that surprised me is It does not get hot like the original. I barely notice any temp difference. I also prefer not having the blue light ring on the connector. It is a little larger than the 'official' charger but it is still easy to pack up. So far the charger has been working flawlessly the past two months. I will update my review if anything changes.Update:About 5-6 months after purchasing and I have started having an issue. My dell laptop has detected it is not an official charger and has put itself into some sort of 'limp mode' when it is plugged in. The battery no longer seems to charge and the laptop seems to run slower. Very unfortunate since this has been a great replacement up until now. I also just noticed the window to get support ended a week ago so it seems I am up a creek on this one. This really is a 5 start product in every other way, but I have to rate it one star if it only lasts a few months unfortunately.

This is so much better than the one from Dale. My brother, my niece, and I all had problems with the original Dell charger. At some point they all fell apart. I refuse to pay the exorbitant price for another Dell charger so I thought I would try this one. So far it has been great

My laptop was at half power until I got the charger....works great now.
