Hooke Road for Jeep JK Different Trail Rear Bumper w/Hitch Receiver & Lights for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK & Unlimited

Bumper is nice! Its nicer than expected for the money. This aint a 1/4" plate tree bumping, rock banging bumper.... and it isnt advertised as that. Its a great option for the stock bumper. The bumper install took me 2 hours total including removal of stock bumper and wiring of lights. I had ABSOLUTELY NO issues with the holes lining up as other people have mentioned. I left all of the bolts loose until completely installed and bumper was gapped then tightened up. GREAT BUMPER FOR THE PRICE!!!

Great bumper for the price. The finish is good and matches my front bumper from another company.The lights are bright and a nice addition to the reverse lights. However they are angled up because of placement on the bumper.Install was very simple with 2 people. If you’re in the rust belt save the headache and just cut the bolts off your factory hook.Overall I’m very happy with this bumper and now I can pull my small utility trailer.

Bumper is solid, 3/16 plate steel. Installed fairly easy. Recommend two people. I did it myself ,ugh!The stock bumper removal was easy. The toughest part was removing the stock tow hook , lots of WD-40 and a breaker bar! Nowhere could I find info on connecting the lights. So, I spliced 18 gauge wire to the lights and used t-taps to the driver side backup lights. Note, these lights are very bright!! All in all, a good purchase.

It is a bit thinner than I anticipated. Barely 3/16” at best. It is slightly deformed from the welding process. The bracing behind the D-Ring mounts is extremely thin. If I ever need to rely on those for recovery I will be concerned.It is shinier than I thought it would be and it has a textured finish. It mounted very nice. Everything fit as it should. Instructions are ok.It looks better than the stock plastic bumper

Very happy with this bumper and I also own the front bumper. It arrived packed well and no scratches or dents. It went on incredibly easy and fast. I read other reviews about it not fitting but mine fit fine with tire on the back and a bike rack. Not sure why some had so much trouble. Dont tighten it down all the way until u swing the door open and closed! I havent wired the lights yet but will this weekend. Tip-spray liquid wrench on the existing bumper bolts a week or so before the bumper arrives and it will come off no problem. For the price the quality is worth it! Once u take that stock plastic bumper off you will feel better protected when u put this on just from a safety standpoint! I 100% recommend!!

Purchased the Hook Road front & back bumper combo about a year and a half ago. Great product and very sturdy. Unfortunately the back bumper does not hold up to well when ever tornado speed winds blow so hard causing your E-brake to fail pushing my jeep across the Dollar Store parking lot backwards into the Dollar Store sign at about 25 MPH. Ended up with a broken back glass, bent back gate, shattered tire carrier, and bent up back bumper. Should have put it in gear when I went in to get the most expensive cat food ever. If anyone needs a slightly used bent back hook road bumper let me know.

I seldom write reviews, but.....I bought both Front and Rear Hooke Road Bumpers.I have only had them on less than a month, and I feel like I need to toss them and take the loss.Before buying, I had read a few comments of people complaining about the finish, but thought they just weren't careful, or had lemons.Sadly I was wrong. Within the 1st week I had several spots where the finish just flaked off. If it is truly a powder coat finish, I'd be surprised. I've got a can of satin black paint that I've touched up at least a half dozen spots.I've also never seen a powder coat that would permanently stain from a spray cleaner getting on it. I was getting some road grime off the body, and you can see what the lysol spray did to it.One of the LEDs has a leak, and always has condensation behind it, so I guess I'll have to silicone that.Lastly the install, while not to difficult initially, turn into a good bit of work to get the bumper low enough that the tailgate would actually open.Haven't decided my next move yet, just get something else, of take them off, sand blast and have a real powder coat down, which would cost several hundred at a bare minimum.,

I have owned the matching front bumper for several months now. An off road outing last week ended with an involuntary removal of the stock rear bumper.Packaging was good, and though some reviews indicate damage on arrival, mine was mint with all fasteners intact.Installation took approximately 20 minutes for the bumper and 10 for the wiring. As I had already ran wire to my stock rear bumper, it saved me about 90 minutes (running wire, switch, connectors and concealment.)Had no issue with fitment, though the installation only makes use of 4 stock drilled holes. The other 4 use angle iron pieces that slide into the frame, though no drilling is required.This bumper looks fantastic and feels incredibly solid. The only downside is that I had to put spacers behind my spare tire (33) in order to close the rear gate.Highly recommend any of Hooke Road’s products, and only wish I would have done it sooner!Ps: A complimentary Hooke Road decal or two would be a nice touch for future orders 😁

Product very misleading!! Says it fits the 2018 Jeep Wrangler, BUT (and they dont tell you this in ad) ONLY IF YOU REMOVE SPARE TIRE, although it says it'll fit a 37" spare. Back door doesn't close. Actual fit was poor at best. ON TOP OF THAT...after multiple emails, theres still no resolution and they keep on asking for photos of it when I had my dealer install and remove. Finally they said they'll accept my return if I pay $65 shipping. They put in more effort trying to get you to keep they're junk by insisting the problem is with the consumer than resolving the issue. Read other online reviews and Im not the first to have issues with this product. I hope Amazon reads this review and does something!!

Brackets didn't really match existing holes, back up light wiring too short, overall great looking bumper

Looks excellent . Hard to install alone. Factory mud flaps won’t work. Led lines are too short to go together.
